    14. I was thinking more of crosses repaires with these... I have maybe 6-7 crosses where the Ring or Ring and Loop were removed for reasons unknown..... So ... adding an original ring, or ring and loop would not only repair them, it would aslo create new variations.... a Godet Cross with a CD800 ring.... all pieces original... (For example...)

    20. OK, the 13th Saxon Jäger battalion became part of the 7th Saxon Jäger regiment of the 197th infantry Division. They were at Verdun from June-July 1918 in the Ornes Sector. Thats where he must have been wounded.
    21. Since i posted the Photo of Lt Wolf 30 minutes ago the relative I got the cross from confirmed he was in Jäger bataillon 13
