    3. I think I may have asked this many years ago, and then lost my info.... Oberleutnant Heinrich Gottfried Otto. awarded the EK1 in April 1917. ....somewhere in the 6th Army. I am guessing he was not in anInfantry Regiment, or a Feldartillery one... that he was maybe in some unit that was not part of a specific division.... Can anyone help? Thanks Chris
    4. I saw 2 guys in the same regiment wearing these... it may simply be coincidence, but I cannot remember seeing them on nfantrymen before.... I assume they are spurs??
    5. In his memoires he says von Arnim took command and he left on the 11th November 1918, the Gruppe being renamed "A" for the return to Germany, but in most online references he is listed as the commander up until Feb 1919... does anyone have any ideas?
    6. Dedicated to Herrn Max Aurich "A real German Man" in 1927....
    7. The reason i ask... His Prussian collection was quite famous... and I recently bought a set of General Litzmann's memoires....
    8. Here is a question... when it come to 1870 bars, I had more without oakleaves than with them.... is it safe to make this calculation based on just mounted oakleaves? What if some crazy guy have made 200 sets of oakleaves and went crazy mounting them on bars.... it would badly sway this in the wrong direction....
    9. When you know your unit is going to be wiped out... best thing to do is to leg it!! ;-)
    10. Somehow does not look thaaaaaaat old?
    11. Hi, I think about 4.5 million, but thats not here nor there... there are surely 6 000 000 iphones in the world, but if I go into a shop and try and get a better price on that basis I will not get far ;-)
    12. You have to be very lucky indeed... the last show I was at you would be very hard pressed to find even the junkiest for under EUR30 :-(
    13. The wording is very vague, usually if to do with a certain unit, event or place it would be mentioned?
