Here is an interesting one, a field made one with a list of the guys combat days. As you can see with the attacked list.... not all assault days were close combat days, and not all close combat days were assault days....

Hi, It was from a Fallschirmj?ger vet. Came through a friend of mine. This style was of the kind you often find on the pre 1918 gibralter titles. Maybe they started doing them differently after this one was made? They must have frayed like hell, the edges were not very strong.

Hold on a sec.... i think the buttom was Godet as well. I would guess the cross was WW1 period. Sadly I cannot remember where it went. -

this was to a really young guy, his diaries and papers from his POW time.... some on toilet paper or whatever he could find... He wrote many food fantasies...
