Notice that the pin, hinge and catch are unlike any badge, by any maker prior to 1945. $370 USD and counting.       I agree Danny, I am loathe to buy anything like this without close, adult supervision. These seem to be a regular industry in some parts of the world.

      Rick, I didn't notice this on the uniform, but in your scan it looks like the center of one of the pips is a different color than the others? Intentional?

      An interesting observation.... On the OPW2, a gold H&S is often backed with copper-colored prongs to the disc. Same with the few real eggs I've seen.. the snipped off and wedged prongs look almost like copper, or a re copper colored. Interesting...
