      I’m looking at a medal bar that has an EK2, FAM in silver, Prussian 9 year LSM and Saxon LSM Second Class. It’s a beautiful bar but under what circumstances would he have the two different DA medals? Also, why would he mount the Prussian ls medal before the Saxon one?

      Hi Alex, not sure if there’s a Scharffenburg mark but this mark is on the suspension ring, hopefully I can make sense of it when it gets here next week.

      There’s some minor chips in the green but I’m still pleased, almost impossible to find anymore. The hunt is on for a case!

      Hi Saschaw, thanks for the clarification and other clues. I agree on holding back the identification. I missed the other two items. I thought I had bid pretty high but guess I am underestimating the current market realities.

      I agree and looking through the seller’s offer items I think it’s safe to say they came together. So there’s those additional clues

      I was the under bidder on this bar. Nicest Prussian bar I’ve seen in a very long time. The seller also sold a Grand Cross Albert Order (civil) and a First Class Zahringen Lion (also civil). I hope one of you won this!

      At any given moment you can find about half a dozen “PLM’s” on eBay. Many offered as original but I’ve yet to see an awarded piece except in a friend’s collection. People bid like crazy on this junk and every once in a blue moon a really nice original order comes up and sells for a reasonable price. Saw an Albert Order Grand Cross go for $1.2k recently!

      Just saw an eBay listing titled “Fake Garbage Blue Max from never ending supply in Germany” you should look for it and read the seller description, I sat here laughing away!
