    1. Her 9th September, Third Class awarded on 26 June, 1971:
    2. Nice little group to a husband and wife encompassing quite a few years.
    3. OK, I've sorted this out. The Type 4 OPL2 came as part of a group to Vulcho Dimov. It was awarded 15 June, 1981. The group also came with a 9th September 3, ns from 1974 and 2 Jubilee Medals. Safe to assume other Jubilees have disappeared as seller had broken the group.
    4. Very nice, I have not seen the lower grades yet!! Thanks!
    5. Hi Eric, I don't think anyone has enough experience to really pass judgement on these. I've only had the one I showed. never even seen another to inspect!
    6. Thank you very, very much! And thank you for your service and thanks to your co-workers!!
    7. I would not be in a rush. There's no shortage of EK1's on the market from loose and dingy right up to mint, cased & boxed never seen the light of day. A better approach would be to decide the maxi,u, you're willing to pay for an example and then try and find the very best one you can. Always collect condition and rarity first (IMO) It is better to have 1 fantastic cross than a couple dozen mediocre or poor condition ones.
    8. And a Type 4: Looks to be cold enamel, very thin, almost paint-like but still with some thickness and translucentness. Note the "waffle" appearance to this type as opposed to the "pebble-grain" back of the type 3.
    9. That suggestion/request has been bumped up the line... awaiting management's time
    10. These are in the pipeline as it were.... interesting pair both First & Second Class to the same person!
    11. The really neat part.... mirror back and an applied, numbered plate:
    12. The document is rough, but it has survived long enough to gain some conservation efforts on my part. Note that this is #77. There are no numbers on the back of the pin.
    13. For me at least... it was pretty amazing that it came with this!
    14. This is one of the most beautiful pieces of enamel work I have seen since 1918.... The colors and the details are fantastic. This stickpin badge is for participating in the construction of the Battery factory in Pazardjik, 1959-60. I assume some sort of "Hero" project, but I do not know if car batteries, or something else. It's beautiful no matter what!
