    1. You see it on eBay Germany all the time... "Keine Garantie oder R?cknahme, da Privatverkauf" usually with something special like this:
    2. I don't know if I agree on that fade thought.... a close look at the back and it sure looks like regular SH ribbon. Of course that simply raises all sorts of additional questions (apart from the ones I already had) about the fact that NO Saxon would have mounted this bar like this pre or post 1934.... I'd take a great big pass on this one....
    3. OK, it's been awhile... but I am scratching my head on those last two outstanding pieces!!
    4. Yes, another very nice and overlooked treasure that ran through eBay. He was very proud of his medals as that was some case he made for them!!
    5. Here's a nice mint & boxed pair I owned that will show the detail usually found on the obverse of these badges.
    6. All of the Baqueville badges look like castings to me... but of a far higher quality than the Aux Cruiser badge posted for discussion.
    7. Now those are some very nice images of an exceptionally scarce medal actually being worn! WOW!! I have never seen an example mounted before. Thanks!
    8. I agree, looks fine. What is especially nice about this bar are the older-style "tall swords" and the application of the crown to denote the Hohenzollern House Order. I'd say probably a W?rttemburg Friedrich's Order, First Class with Swords in third place. Nice little bar!
    9. Thanks Saschaw and thanks for correcting my language! Very scarce medal, I would have bid much higher for it but missed. I think the Austrian case very much is in sync with the medal. It was a wonderful little set.
    10. Nice little enamel badge for 25 Years of The Ministry of Interior:
    11. The Ministry of Interior had its' own Academy, I don't know what was taught, or who went... but they had their own distinct rhomb school badge:
    12. The Border Guards fall under the Ministry of Interior and a number of awards were established for these units. Medal for Merit in Protecting The Frontiers, 1976-1989:
