    15. As wraith 42 wrote, some additional info: the pay-grade V., same as the Generalmajor. The employees of the quartermaster corps were military officials, not officers. They had no right to wear the sword-knot.
    16. I' dont know the german Deckoffizier, but in the AH Armed Forces he was the equivalent with the Feldwebel of the land forces.
    17. Kriegsmedaille, Jubilee Medal 1898, Jubilee Cross 1908 both on Armed Forces ribbon. His rank is Unterbootsmann, NCO, not officer.
