    1. Hi New World Thank you for listing more boxes. As i stated it looks like only boxes for The Order of St Alexander were made.
    2. I think i have picture of one of them I will find and list it
    3. Hi New World, Obviously, they made boxes for most of the high classes of the Order of St Alexander Surprisingly i have not seen any for the other Bulgarian Orders??!!
    4. Yes and No. The might have been made to fill the gap in the market. many originals were damaged over the time I also suspect that they have been used for the small waive of fake high classes Sets including the Order of St Alexander Any way they are very nice if the originals are missing Better then nothing. The only problem has been when they are sold the sellers did not disclose knowingly or not knowingly that they were late reproduction Those decorations, sold on the recent Auctions around Europe ,had one thing in common- the boxes looked so identical like the have been made for this purpose
    5. Hi GM1, It is amazing pair of miniatures i agree the quality is exceptional In my opinion they are related to WW2 period Platinum was not as popular during WW1 and earlier periods. However that is my opinion only. Tracing the recipient will be difficult task , however not impossible We need some one from the Belgian collectors/members with access to the right information. Congrats on the stunning pair
    6. Hi 922F, Yes yours and mine boxes are identical , Only Class and size difference. It looks like the same "maker' Any way they are good to hold the corresponding Sets in case of lack of original one
    7. Great ! You have a nice Buls Commander 18 Carat Gold This mark is not very clear, however most of the Buls commanders are not marked for gold, however they are all gold That was the practice those days Cheers
    8. The miniature from my last listing is not marked however it look like Silver The front is gilded that has worn a bit
    9. Hi GM!, Congrats very nice Buls Commander Order of lLeopold 1 Can you list the the size and the weght of the Order A Commander Class should be 85 mm long 55-56 mm wide and the Weigt should be 40 + grams I The crown on the back can be pushed out very gently with a fine blunt tool. Do not use forceps because you can make marks on the crown Gold is very soft material Bear in mind it is 18 carat Gold It is nice that is marked Look for a very small mark on the crown for gold - Horse head Usually the mark for gold is on one of the lower rim of the crown -very fine one here is mine Buls Commander
    10. Yes, They are the latest addition to my collection
    11. It is very interesting picture of an Austrian Officer It is very difficult to determine whether he is wearing the Palm of the Belgium Order of the Crown The ribbon is Austrian type mounted. though the white line may suggest Belgium Awards it also could be an Austrian ribbon worn with foreign Award. Why they look in different directions They pose differently to the photo shot.
    12. Although not very high Class this Model from the republican Issue is a rare bird
