    1. Hi, Just found this great site. Use the Search bar at top right. http://www.uniforminsignia.org/ Cheers, Larry
    2. Fantastic photos Odulf! Here are two more 2cm Flak 30 photos, both taken at Bolchov, 1942. Cheers, Larry
    3. Nice photo of a 2cm Flakvierlung 38. More from my Flak Rgt. 11 album. A 2cm Flak 30 emplacement. The city in the background is Bolchov. Cheers, Larry
    4. I agree. I believe the GD Cuff title was introduced in 1944 so late war portraits. It is possible that both men have had their cuff titles quickly sewn on before posing for the camera. Anyway, good clear photos of GD cuff titles and board cyphers are hard to find so congrats on a nice portrait. Cheers, Larry
    5. Hi Jock, Here is my portrait with hand-sewn cuff band. Cheers, Larry
    6. Another from my collection. Cheers, Larry
    7. Thanks Paul. Here is another from my collection. I like the intimate pose. I think the numbers on his boards shows he served with Flak Rgt. 89. I will post the Beamte photos in another thread. Cheers, Larry
    8. Nice portraits Jock. Is the GD cuff band crudely hand-sewn on. I have a GD portrait which shows the soldier in almost exactly the same pose. His cuff band is also crudely sewn on. Cheers, Larry
    9. Very nice Flak wedding portrait. Nice Urkunde Odulf. Here is another from my collection. Cheers, Larry
    10. Another from my wedding portrait collection. Cheers, Larry
    11. Thanks Paul. I have a couple of LW Beamte photos. Cheers, Larry
    12. Thank you for the kind comments. I was lucky enough to purchase another photo of the couple from another source. Cheers, Larry
    13. From my wedding portrait collection. Cheers, Larry
    14. Jock, Don't know whether your food container is WW1 or WW2. Here is a photo of one from my ww2 photo collection. It is squarer than yours but alike in most of the other details. Cheers, Larry
    15. Obergefreiter Arthur Haschem (right) with two comrades at a flak emplacement, Orel. Cheers, Larry
    16. Members of II/Flak Rgt. 11 standing at the Bahnhof, Orel.
    17. Orel to Briansk rail line. This was the supply line for the German offensive.
    18. Thankyou. Here is some information about Flak Rgt. 11. I copied this information from another site where I had posted photos from the album, "I am going to share some photos from a Flak Rgt. 11 album. II Flak Rgt. 11 saw action in the battle for Warsaw, in 1941 action in Kiev, Rommy, Orel, Desna and Bolkhov. By 1944 the reginent was in Kurland. The album is well captioned giving a timeline of 1942-1943. Some photos show fighting around the Orel area and are captioned "summer of 1943." This would coincide with the German Operation Zittadelle which started 5 July 1943 and the Kursk battle which followed a few days later. Orel, Desna and Bolkhov are very close to Kursk and these areas were involved in the fighting." Cheers, Larry
    19. Writing says that it took 20 hand grenades to dig this trench out of the frozen soil. Cheers, Larry
    20. Nice portraits. Does the writing say: "Stellen erinerung (should be erinnerung) unser? Hermann." Another set of photos from the album. First a photo shows Kradmelder Helm who was KIA 16.12.1942. Cheers, Larry
