    1. Very nice, The paper with the whole story were given since 1918. To get this paper with a picture is very rare. I am a little bit envious.
    2. Here a second Class crown/swords am Band für Kriegsverdienst Owner Fritz Wilking Beamtenstellvertreter einer Vermessungsabteilung. To this paper belong the Weiss-cross.
    3. That is a early Weiss-MVO with golden medaillons. The ribbon looks new. Chris wrote, what happened with the enamel

    5. Nice bar, can you show better pictures of the MVO. The bar was from a officer of the bavarian Landwehr. He got the Landwehr service cross for 20 years.
    6. Hello, was this flag for two units? I read B 23. Inf Leib Regt, The 23th Infanterieregiment with the hometown Landau and the ILR with hometown Munich. The first bataillon of the 8. Reserve Infanterie Regiment was in Kaiserslautern. I think it was a postwar veterans association foundet in Kaiserslautern for members of the ILR and the 23. IR.
    7. Hello, my newest entry. A very nice NCO bar. He got the MVK before 1905, so he must have a special position like a gunnery NCO, purser, military-musician or something. In the great war he was a noncombattant ( see König-Ludwig-Kreuz and FEK without swords). He got the cross for 24 year long service, the bar was made after 1934.
    8. This one? It is a fine, early Weiss & Co poduction with golden medaillon.
    9. I love this gropings with the name of the soldier. Gratulations, very nice

    11. Hello, a very nice paper. Ancestry has several listings of him, here some facts. He was born 26. October 1895 His profession was butcher. On June 6th, 1916 he was spilled at Douamont and came to a hospital with big ear problems. In 1917 he had to go back to the hospital , this time he got dysentery. On the 8th of January 1918 he joined to the FEA 1 Fliegerersatzabteilung 1 at Schleißheim/Munich. His duty was worker and later security guard. On may 1919 he was released. Awards: EK2 ; bavarian Military cross 3. class swords (I hope you will understand my special google english)
    12. Hello Chris, gratulations for these papers. Very nice documents of the 2. Jägerbataillons leader. It is a pity, that these documents were separated, but that's ebay business. I have missed the papers for the EK1 and the service cross2. I have added together all the results and it came together a sum of just under 2200 Euro. The highlights were the papers of the third class swords and the third class crown/swords. Here a picture of Oberstleutnant Lettenmayer.
    13. Now you have to decorate the bar with golden teeth :-) What kind of scientist was Professor Bruno Hoyer? I only found this name at wikipedia for a musician in the bavarian Staatsoper (Hornist) Regards Andreas
    14. Hello Andreas, thats a great bar. The ribbon on the 5th ist very blurred. Thanks for the resolution. That bar would be for a superscript person. Do you have the Luwigsmedal which belongs to this bar? The owner got the Ludwigskreuz for 40 years of duty, so I think he would be a scientist in a bavarian Research Institute or similar.
    15. Hello Signalcorps, a very nice bar. Please turn the Luitpoldmedal to the frontside. Which yearfigures shows the bandeau under the crown? I think this bar will be a civillians-decoration. The Luitpold shows the red ribbon for civillians. The Michaelmedal was given to officials and civillians. Propably a bar of an musician or artist for example. Andreas bar is very, very nice. The second medal was given for the participants of the golden wedding of the bavarian King Ludwig III in 1918. The 5th medal, I can not really determine. For me it looks like the ribbon for a bavarian Landwehr- servicemedal. The beautifullest medal is the silver Luitpoldmedal with crown, I like it very much.
    16. Very nice items. Here my two pieces. One has lost his Lid for a metal-collection at the war. It was replaced with a beatiful porcellan-lid in the 20th. Both mugs have a little hole on the lower side.
    17. Very nice bar, with a medal for war merit Sachsen-Meiningen. It is the decoration for soldiers and NCO's.
    18. Hello Chris, gratulations for this rare set. I'm a little bit envious.
