    1. Does anyone know what the insignia for an Honorary Freeman of the Mongolian People's Republic looks like? So far, all I know is that it was established in 1974 & has been described as a 'gold star'...
    2. As if I would be interested in anything other than ACCURATE information, dear heart! Why do you think I hang out here with you lot? Now amended to Sukhbaatar Order.
    3. Do not understand this last, Ed. Must be getting a bit late... (well, it is nearly 11pm & I've been teaching all day!).
    4. A prayer or two may be said, if only so that when (I have a good hit rate with praying!) you get your claws on the T2 you can do a better reverse picture. Appreciated that if you do not feel able to present the rear of a T1 that's fine. Anyone else got a reverse view of one?
    5. Already went through that thread... serial number ranges are a bit outside my particular interests, reverse views on the other hand... although I don't find pin-backs half as fascinating as some collectors do!!!
    6. OK, we've all seen it before, but for consistency I'll post each as it goes on my site... 1st Type: 2nd Type:
    7. From the Kiribati National Honours and Awards Act 1989: "This Order may be bestowed or conferred upon persons who contribute to the reputation or the common welfare of Kiribati by the display or extraordinary talent, skill or knowledge in traditional, scientific, artistic or similar fields."
    8. "This Order may be bestowed or conferred upon persons who have made outstanding or exceptional contributions to the common welfare in Kiribati in their respective professions, callings, vocations or other fields of human endeavour or activity." - according to the Kiribati National Honours and Awards Act 1989.
    9. ... that I updated the Mongolian section of my website. My usual 'page a day' for May will be Mongolian, so please keep popping over to see what I've added and if there are any kind souls in here who'd be prepared to share pictures with me I would be ecstatic!!!
    10. Ana Kamoamoa Kiribati Instituted: 1987. Obverse:
    11. Boutokan Toronubwain Kiribati Instituted: 1986. Obverse:
    12. No ribbons on the M&E images, but it was described to me as being crimson edged dark blue, with a dark blue central stripe.
    13. 1st Class: Badge - which appears to be different from the one on the collar above. Perhaps there was more than one version of this order?
    14. Instituted: 1925 by Reza Shah. Awarded: To Royalty & Heads of State. Collar of the Order:
    15. Nobody was home when it was delivered... I felt rather sorry for the neighbour who took it in and came round when I got home from work! 9kg I think the box said...
