Thanks for pointing this out! I did check Hendricks page, in search of my medal, but couldn't find it there. I however didn't check again when I got the info...Back to scratch....; I guess....! And ask where the original info came from. To be continued.

A collegue came up with the sollution. The medal was a commemorative medal for the 25 years of the inauguration of the reign of Leopold I. Ribbon is 37 mm large (in total!); green 1mm/amarant 6mm/ green 23mm/amarant 6mm and green1mm.

@ Larry, the ribbon on the first medal seems right, as I found a similar one in a other collection. Problem is the guy doesn't know eighter what the ribbon means. My wild guess would be; home guards (garde civique). Because that is the type of green color those guy's used to wear (for a majority!).

The picture and thread on WRF are mine. Not sure I still have them... I generally get my medals from local auction houses, thing is your never sure the right medals still are in the right boxes. I make a pic the way they got in, and then keep the boxes separtly from the medals.

Hey Paul, no, I stopped reclaiming the garden two weeks ago, when I fell from a ladder when trying to cut a dead tree... The tendon tear happened when moving my stuff... I defenetly nead a tractor there.

Not much else to do, then to sit still and heal, after a tendon tear in my right arm.... So I tought why not start a thread with Belgian medals makers and retailers. With the pile of medal boxes I have that might take some posts. Let's start with the greatest name; Fonson. Next is Fish, a old one and the modern one; Van Look from Antwerp, also two different one's, two different adresses too; Walravens; Wolfers;

@Larry, here some pic's in daylight! No idea for the ribbon. And probably a silver finition on the other two medals; because I can't find any hallmarks and seem to spot a cupper colour in the deep side cuts...

It is night here, so this is the best I could do. I'll make better one's tomorrow.

Hey guy's, thanks for your comments! I have a pic of the light blue one, who is a mistery so far! It says "exposition de bruxelles 1909", but thing is there was no expo in Brussels that year... It is 9,8 cm high and weight is 22 gr.

Hey guy's, need some help here, what would be a fair price for both party's, for these medals. Both only bear the french text, and the big one (with silver marks!)is the grand cordon medal to me. I am the seller. And I am in the middle of moving to the other house, so I can't check my doc, at the momment.
