What an overwhelming response... For Andreas and everyone else, who is interested. This is the first one, we talked about on the phone, a nice early example, which isn?t classiefied in the Alex Filer Classification yet, like it seems. Nr. 101.270, unresearched yet. Obverse:

Jim, i just pin them through the background material. They hold very well and if the fabric is stretched good enough, there aren?t any crinkels. I attach the fabric with very small stripes of both sided duct tape on the reverse of the wood, so, if there?s a need to replace the background, its very easily done. Gentlemen, i know, its a common award, but though, may i ask you to post the OPW 2nd classes in your collection for my education and enjoyment? Noticing that i have more than a dozen of them now, it seems i have a weakness for them. Most of you know, i am one of these evil variations-collectors and i have quite a few variations together now, but still would like to add some more, so if anyone of your has a "small version" or a trench-reverse for sale, shoot me a pm. I am not sure, what happened to my reply from the 31st? Ed, regardless, if the photo is original to the book or not ( i lean towards okay just for the record), this is the coolest Military Merit Medal for Afghanistan, which i have ever seen. Probably the coolest at all. What might a MMM like this may be worth? Definately not the usual 30 Dollar, you?d pay for an unnumbered MMM with Doc. I would consider it at least at 5 times the amount, what do you think? That may sound stupid, but i have never seen an Afghanistan award for sale(otherwise it would be in my collection).
