    1. The engraved EK1 is a known fake. The spange/EK1 combo is one to stay away from too.
    2. They are for sale on the WAF forum if you are a member over there.
    3. Thanks guys. I'm really happy with the aquisitions I've made lately.
    4. From the list that was supplied above, how many crosses can members here produce from thier collections, or state without a doubt they have seen genuine examples? Alot of them exist, I even have many myself, and I know there are alot of super collections out there, but do all those makers really exist. Let's hear from the collectors who have almost all of them or who have been collecting for years to get a perspective on what makers may not even exist.
    5. Don't worry, you'll find it. Look at the great collection you have now!
    6. There are a bunch that are going to be hard to find. If I were you I would start by picking up some of the more common makes in good condition at a good price because many collectors already have them. Among the makes I see pop up often are 4, 13, 24, 25, 27, 55, 65, 100, 113. There are others, but these should be the easiest to achieve. Even these are going to run you close on a thousand US maybe more, so it's a long term thing.
    7. Here's an EK1 that's seen better days. This is a variant core, perhaps silvered copper.
    8. Here's a couple that aren't mint. Not terrible, but i hope they can fir into this thread. First an EK2 marked 800 on the ring.
    9. I'm glad you posted your collection over here. It was inspiring to me when I first saw it. Very nice. How many EK2s in all now?
    10. This one came easier than I thought, and is quite nice.
    11. It's not an M because it's not an M cross. They have a distinctive look. It might me a Z, a fairly common maker.
    12. These set ups did exist but are rare. The thing I noticed is what appears to be an uneven misalignment of the Iron Cross frame itself. Check the left verses right side of the cross. Doesn't seem like what you would expect from a quality piece.
    13. Here's the rear of the 132, the nicest of the lot.
    14. Here's the third EK2 that arrived in yesterday's mail. It's a nice one marked 132 on the ring. It has a very pleasing patina to it.
    15. Here's the rear of my 123 marked EK. Not a bad speciman.
    16. This arrived with some others yesterday. An EK2 marked 123 on the ring.
    17. Here's the rear of the 15 marked cross. Frederick Orth I believe.
