    1. And the rear. I removed it from the mount for this picture.
    2. Here's a shot of the front from a different perspective. Does anyone have any idea of the maker?
    3. Here's a view of the rear attached to the mounting device.
    4. This came today. It's an unmarked EK2 on a single parade mount. I have one of these already but this was being offered at a very good price so I couldn't resist. It's a nice piece also. The mounting device is heavily padded. The cross itself has good core paint. Just thought I'd show it and see if anyone had an idea of the maker. Thanks for looking, Steve
    5. Here's a not so great shot of the maker's mark. Thanks for looking.
    6. Here's the rear. The pin is a little bent. Again, not perfect, but I like it.
    7. This arrived today. It's an EK1 marked L/50 on the rear for Godet. It's not exactly mint with some loss of paint to the core. Doesn't look as bad in hand. How hard is this maker to come across?
    8. Appreciate the comments Naoki. I still have a ways to go to catch up to you my friend.
    9. Interesting about the glass. I never would have known that. I can see the glass breaking over time.
    10. That is nice, I'm looking for one of those. The local finds are hard to turn down also.
    11. I've seen them there too but it's like everything, you can't buy it all or you'll be living in the street.
    12. It's in pretty good shape. I find digital cameras can make items seem even worse than they are. The history of the cross may tell why it's in such good shape. It was obviously purchased many years after WW1 so maybe the veteran passed on before he could wear it much, or perhaps after WW2 the chance or place to wear any military medals were limited and it was just put away.
    13. For that dough you better be 100% sure it's legit.
    14. Greg, what a fantastic and focused collection. Some great examples. I have some of my EK2's in similar cases but on a purple background material. It may be a little dark though, so I may try someting a little lighter. I like the red.
    15. And since you are such an enthusiastic collector, here's my 3 EK2's on single parade mounts.
    16. Naoki, you have some beautiful EK1's in your collection. That's a great picture. Here's a picture I had on file of my 4 wartime award pieces. They are marked We, HBG, KO and WS.
    17. Thanks Chris. I'm going to keep my eye out for other L marked 1914 EK2's, but I doubt I'll see too many.
    18. Thanks I guess we're starting to clear this one up.
    19. Wow, never seen one like that before. The amount of quality crosses you have been showing is getting obscene.
    20. I'm just starting to read this about the suspicion of all Souval made pieces. And S&Land Deumer also? Surely god not all the offerings from these firms are post war. What about an unmarked EK2 that is a Souval made piece? I have a KVK1 marked 4 and an RS marked minesweeper to boot. What's the opinion on pieces like that?
    21. Naoki, Richard, thanks for the input. Looks like most are leaning to Deumer. It's one of my favorites one way or the other.
    22. That would be great. I'm expecting a Godet EK1 in the mail anyday.
    23. I guess I missed that discussion, but it's starting to look like Duemer. Is the hardware on these similar to Godet? Thanks for jumping in here Micha. Any other takes on this?
