    1. Hi everybody, Here is a copy of small book I have. It contains names grade and adress of officers of F.A.R.Nr. 44 who survived the war. Not impressive document but still interresting. Christophe
    2. Hi Chris, Of course, all depends of the bravery of your man. An another example : Leutnant d. L Ernst Hischmann who received 5 medals during the War. I have shown the ribbon bar but have a look. I think that five or six ribbons for a single lieutenant is very good. If he had more he was probably Adjudant of a Prince and then it could justify a lot of awards. And even that in the RL 1914 there is not a lof officers with more than 5 medals before the war with the grade of lieutenant. Christophe
    3. Hi, I'm not convinced at all about this ribbon bar. I'm still impressed about all miniatures people wants to put on ribbon bar to be sold for higher price. Rick has published, only in this forum, a complete article about ribbon bars. This bible for us, collector, should be read each time before buying such ribbon bar. But the most important is experience. I think with this one you won't buy another ribbon bar like that. Just my two cents Christophe
    4. Hi Christer, Nice ribbon bar for man and NCO. The second ribbon is for the General Honor Decoration from Saxe Weimar and the third is Silver Medal for Merit in War of Schwarzburg. But it can be the Honor Cross 4th class with X (swords are in in silver only). Christophe
    5. Hi Rick, I have seen the problem with loop but I buy it. There is no match with SHM. I have seen such group in an old Kube auction and it was like this today. Like I was outbid I like I have the ribbon bar I want to complete the group. And with SH3 and RE3X, the only match is Let Hartung. Christophe
    6. Hi, Here are dates of award of known medals SH3, 29 october 1915 SA3bX, 9 august 1916 Christophe
    7. And now some new photos : General Karl Graf von Wuthenau-Hohenthurm Christophe
    8. Thanks Stefan for your comments. You have probably right about the photo. have a look about my new medal bar from Leutnant d. R. Hermann Hartung from Rerserve J?ger Btn Nr. 13.
