    1. Hi, I have this ribbon bar since many years but no match appears very clearly. Recently, Paul C gave me some clues. I THINK, I have found the name BUT like some rolls are missing it's difficult to be sure at 100%. The officer : Oberst max Zunehmer, later commander officer of the I.R. Nr. 46. he received the following order : Order Pour le m?rite, 29.11.1917 EK2, positive match EK1 HHO3X, positive match HT SLK, HH, positive match EfF, positive match SA2, positive match RAO4 m. Kr., positive match DA, positive match CM, positive match ?M3K, positive match TH, wore on breast tunic. Like you can see on the 11 ribbons, 9 are positive. It may be him but without photo of him it will be very difficult. Here is the ribbon bar. Your comments are welcome Christophe
    2. Hi Paul, Very nice ribbon bar. I see it and want to bid but I lost it. It is in a vey good home now I think it's a special point when we can see crown and swords on the SF ribbon., For me I prefer only seeing sword than swords and crown. Don't forger that the crown is not a special award like we can see with the Saxe Albrecht knight cross. Christophe
    3. He reeived the Crown Order 2nd class with swords on june, the 4th 1918. Stinj David has the L?beck rolls, so he can give you the date. Regards Christophe
    4. Hi, leutnant 08-02-1890 Major 10-09-1908 In the RL 1914 he's got the following medals : RAO4, KO3, Johanniter cross, HSH3a, SEK3 and Centenary medal. I will see what I can found for the WW1 Christophe
    5. Hello, I need a photo of Max Zunehmer. He finshed the war a the head of the I.R. Nr. 46. Thanks for your help Christophe
    6. Hi, I've just find the information : - Carl Eduard Medal 2nd class without swords awarded 416 times between 1911 and 1920 - Decoration for Merit in Homeland awarded 1226 times between 1918-1919. Christophe
    7. Here are all the PKO3X awarded during the Kaiser W2'reign. This list is from an old OMM review. Sorry for the scan this is the best I can do Christophe
    8. HI Paul I agree with you except for A peace time Red Eagle Order 4 would never be in front of combat awards. The correct order of mounting is wartime awards, peacetime awards, foreign awards. There is some exception : have a look about this ribbon bar of Oberstleutnant Duerr (now property of Charles) Christophe
    9. Rick, About Lisso's ribbon bar, I read the link and it's perhaps "4th ribbon is unknown?appears to be faded away pale blue and not a Saxon Lifesaving Medal". What do you think about it. You wrote this about David's ribbon bar. Christophe
    10. Rick, What is the difference between SV4X and SV3bX on ribbon bar? Is it the swords ? I know that for SV3BX the swords are in gold, but for the SV4X are the swords in silver ? I have never seen one ribbon bar with such devices. Do you have one in your collection ? Christophe
    11. The name of this officer is Hans Melzer. He wore following medals : SV4X, 03 09.1916 SA4X, 24.05.1916 EK2. Have a look at the ribbon bar Christophe
    12. Ulsterman, I don't think it's the Centenary medal. I know that another officer of this regiment received the Anhalt Friedrich cross 2nd class. So it can be possible that the four ribbon is this one. I have no more clue. For the iron cross claps on iron cross ribbon I have another interresting photo of one FeldwebelLeutnant who wore one ribbon bar with such device. Have a look. Christophe
    13. Hi everybody, Here is a photo of Leutnant Fritz Lisso from I.R. Nr. 179. This officer didn't appear in the Saxon RL from 1914 but appeared in the EhrenRL 14-18. He died in october, the 8th 1918. He received both EK, SA3bX (23.12.1915), silver wound badge. My question is about the other ribbons. The second seems to be the SA3b, but like he was not in the Army before the war, for me it's impossible. But wait and see. So if someone can help me. Of course I haven't find his name in the Hohenzollern -both volumes -, Thuringian States and of Wurttemberg. Christophe
