Just like last Friday , I have been hunting for a Maybauer Observer Badge for since 2000 , and last Friday I got one . Berg & Nolthe , Ludenscheid , LW Para Badge . Jan Arne
    2. Bob ! That is also a very nice Para Badge . I need to start hunting for a Juncker as well . :violent-smiley-007: Jan Arne
    3. Thanks Dave ! I use the case to keep a L/13 EK 1 in . Jan Arne

    5. Hi Gene ! The Hans Gnad LW Para badges is beleived to be fakes , at least the few I have seen . But JFS should have made LW Para Badges , but I think these are very rare . I have never seen one , only scans from a book or magasin . Jan Arne
    6. The Right of the Two Cross was also cased . And I beleive that the Case is a authentic one , even if the Cross can be doubtful . Jan Arne
    7. Here is a FAKE EK 1 Spange , maker marked L/21 on pin . Beleived to be one of the "Floch" copies . These fakes can be found with a lot of different maker marks . Jan Arne

    9. One more Assmann LW Para Badge . Double marked badge in zinc "A" + "L/64" . Jan Arne

    11. Michel ! Thanks for info . I assumed that it not was any known U-Boot Awards made by Aluminium . But it is always nice to get confirmed . Reason I ask was that for many Years ago , before I was able to go online on Internett . I had one U-Boot Badge in Aluminium or an other Aluminium Alloy . Other Collectors here in Norway ment it was a fake , so I sold it as a Fake . Strange is that I have never seen any of them later . Detail on front was a bit soft , and pin-setup was like on a zinc badge . But sadly I have not any pics or scan of the award . Jan Arne
    12. Von Luger ! I know about that theory . High Resulution scans of this "wide" pin PAB was sent to Frank H. for 3-4 weeks ago . And I`m open for all theories about the makers of this design PAB . But I beleive that it was more than one maker that used this design Here is a "KWM" Karl Wurster , Markneukirchen made PAB in Silver . It looks like Tombac , But I beleive that it is a zinc PAB with some kind of Copper coating before badge is Silvered . Can they have done this to get a better and longer preserved Silver finish ? Badge is to heavy to be "kupal" and it has no sign to the"sandwich" one sides . Jan Arne
    13. Back of Assmann LW Para Badge made of Aluminium . Marked "A" + " D.R.G.M " Jan Arne
    14. Here is a variant of Assmann LW Para Badge that it not seen so often . Badge made of Aluminium . Jan Arne
    15. Here is the Norwegian NS Frontkjempermerket " Front Fighter Badge " . Marked with Silver stamp 830 S and "W" beleived to be the maker . Awarded of Norwegian that Volunteered in Germany duty , also some Swedes and some Germans awarded Frontkjempermerket . Most of the Norwegian Volunteers was in Waffen - SS . As a note ! A Norwegian News Paper showed today pics from " Kaprolat " and " Hasselmann" where it si beleived that about 140 Norwegian was killed in fights against the Russian Army Midsummer 1944 . Several "Headscalps" and rests of German uniforms is lieing around in the area 60 years after the War ended . Jan Arne
