Dear Linas , Thank you very much for your posts , but i do not care who bid to your "Breast Star , which kind of collector or expert they are , I respect to everyones knowledge and choice but your Medjidie Breast Star is GUARANTEE FAKE !! 1 - If you want to give right to me , please go to some Metal Casting workshop , they are going to confirm that all the body is made by casting method. 2 - Please look at the Brilliant cuts on the silver , they have to be sharp , but yours are extremely smooth.. 3 - I am saying again that your enamel is PINKISH !! NOT RED AS IT MUST BE. 4 - The weldings to the needles are made very amateur way , which it musnt be... 5 - You can not see that kind of Long Needles on an Original Medjidie Breast Star. 6 - Your stars patina can be easily understood with proffesional eyes that it is later made with chemicals. 7 - On the center , you can see 4 sheets , attached on the red enamel , (they are also enameled , written on them "Year 1268" ,"Enthusiasm" , "Patriotism" and "Loyalty" ) , the distance between them are not proper , usually you can see this mistake on the fake ones , end of the ones on the right side nearly touching each other , but the right to is seperate.. My family and me , we are collecting Ottoman orders till 25 Years and we have a Antique & Jewellery shop in Istanbul - Turkey since 1983 . I am a member of Turkish Numismatique Associaiton , and i wrote many articles about the Ottoman orders in Turkish Local Numismatique magazines.. And also you mentioned that "Composition : Gold - Silver and enamel" please check it in a gold smith , if you will any miligram of "Solid Gold" in that order , i promise to you here , i will send you an original one like present , all the yellow parts of your order are silver. Please do not understand my opinions to your personality , i am sorry if i wrote something wrong. Both of them are fake and so interesting the seller from France mentioned that "GUARANTEED ORIGINAL" ... shame on him , and this kind of people... For the new collectors , i kindly ask you , please be careful... It must be Red , maybe different levels of red , but it must be red , NOT pink.

Dear Mr.Demir , Thank you very much for expanding the list of this deficient sellers new items. For our new collector friends , i just wish to mention here again that ; 1 - For both of them , the TWM and The Atik Crete Medal , please observe the blisters which caused by the cast technique , but an original medal was made with a press technique without that kind of bubles and blisters. Mostly they occured because of the gases , air and clash of the mine / metal when it saw the heat to melt. *** But please try not to mix this cast problems, with the natural traces , scratches and gutters which may accure on an original one due to the time wear. 2 - Please observe for both of them , the brownish patina which is caused when trying to gave the fake old looking patina with some chemicals. Dear Sergio , That Medal which was called Sanayi (Industry) Medal and also Iftihar Medal ( PRIDE Medal) because of in 1853 there was the first Iftihar Medal made , not mix the one which you mentioned here , we usually call it here in Turkey as Iftihar ve Sanayi Medal. This one which we are talking about started to be awarded from 1883 - 84 . What i wish to explain here is , this medal one of the most popular medal in the German Bars after the Medal of Merit because it was not Only awarded for Industrial fields , as you can understand from the name , it was also warded for the service and help to the Ottoman Empire and also to the Sultan , Valor and heroism. Dear Jonathan , You are welcome , What you mentioned is exactly correct , it is definitely NOT a 3rd Class , also it is NOT a foreign made Medjidie Order , from the shape/style of the order , I can say that it is an Ottoman Made Medjidie order. Of course , the picture is Black/White (We can not understand the Center is gold or Silver) and not targeted/detailed on the Medjidie Order , but i feel from the size like it is a 4th class with Rosette , not a 5th class .... It could be very easy , if we could see the center of the order to tell you exactly but ..... Hope it helps... All the best , Avsar
