    6. Hello Gents, I am showing of a nice Wurttemburg Trio i have now, it came with the ribbon bar. I am looking for a Parade mount ribbon and bar minus the medals so i can mount these three on. Has anyone got one they could sell me? or does anyone know where there is one? i dont mind if there is one or two medal with it...i just love the parade mount with the furled ribbons at the bottom, this is my main collecting interest. Anyway here is a pic for the gents to peruse. Greetings from Aoteroa Paul
    7. Thanks Jaques, Even on this one, you can see that the "a" and the "g" are different so it would indeed be hard to duplicate the letter exactly. This is the second type cuff title i know of ( apart from the fakes!) The link provided by John, shows both types. I am going to sit tight untill i get more pics on this item. But i must say thankyou to the gents who have contributed Cheers, Paul
    8. Is it the fourth medal on the bar?? as i have no idea what that ones for...and it looks like it might not be German too.... C'mon Stogieman, tell us all! Regards Paul
    9. Hi Gene, Yes i can see that now...Hmm, wouldn't it be a hard job to exactly replicate the letters as these are usually hand embroidered? The thread used?? what is wrong with it? Hopefully some better pics will arrive soon and then we can check out the rear etc.. The Plot thickens.... Regards Paul
    10. Hi Gene, Please tell me why you think that this is a fake? what strikes you as being obvious? Some info would be appreciated thanks Cheers Paul
    11. Heres a funny bar that was sold here in NZ recently, i was advised to stay away as it has some disrepancies! But at least for this thread it has the Ludwig cross. Cheers Paul
    12. And i'll third that! WOW! there are some nice bars here! and not to forget the awesome documents! Thanks for sharing guys! Cheers Paul
    13. Hullo again Gents, Has anyone else seen this type of marking on the rear of Imperial medal bars?? Its like they used a rubber stamp to stamp the name of the Jeweller who assembled this type of parade mount. I just love this type of Parade mount bar! the ribbon curled round at the bottom and providing a cushion for the medals to lie on...its just marvellous! And most of the bars have some sort of cotton wool mix underneath the ribbon around the ring holder to Puff up the ribbon around this area to make it look better. Here is a pic of the rear for you to see the Stamping, however it is rather faint and cannot be read, unfortunately! Cheers Gents! Regards Paul
    14. Hi John, Yes i do agree, better pics are definately the go. I have asked the seller to provide pics of the reverse side and the ends. Do you know of any originals that i can use as a comparison archive? Do the letters look like they are correct? as i have seen two varieties of this cuff Title, and of course the Fakes out there flame , well it would be nice if there was a Fake area where members could go to, to research and come to their own conclusion about the items in question Thanks for your help! Regards Paul
    15. Heres a pic of the Nazi Handkercheif.... Its quite a nice item. Have the gentlemen ever come across such an item?? Comments encouraged! Cheers, Paul
    16. HI Rick, Have asked the seller to send me some more pics, and will post as soon as i get them! Meanwhile....what other speculations do the members have??? Cheers, Paul

    19. Nice Bar Rick! What is the wee small medal with the yellowish ribbon? I am sure that my Hesse Silver bravery medal is silver...i can tell by the Patina... Anyway thanks for showing the pic! Regards Paul
    20. Hello Gents, I have the opportunity to purchase this Cuff title. Now what are the signs of faking should i be looking for? and how much are these worth if genuine? I will ask for a pic of the rear and the cuff title opened out to its full length Comments Please... Regards Paul
    21. Good morning, gents. I have this large eagle to Show you and to ,hopefully , find out what it is for and where it would have been mounted etc.. Any ideas gents? Pictured with it is a cuff title, this should give you an idea to the size of this thing. All comments welcome! Thanks! Regards Paul
    22. Hi Dond, Thanks for posting the pic, i had no idea that these were marked as to their silver content. I guess now that mine is the type that rick was talking about...or did they not nessesarily mark all the silver ones?? Thanking you for your help! Cheers, Paul
