Here is a bar that came out of the woodwork in a motel buy in Atlanta a few years ago. A blade collector friend bought this and put it into a drawer after teasing me with it. I asked about it a couple of times a year and finally it was time for it to come to me. Funny how the EK is backwards. Would there have been any RAO or KO neck pieces for the owner or did he never receive them? I looked at the article and this should be a bar from a 7th Army Korp member.

I have looked at this cross and I believe that it is a Flock. This is the early version of the pin and these are much harder to detect. Wait for others to reply before you get rid of it but if you are in a short return period I would send it back if possible.

What is the maker mark on the pin?

Gentleman, As usual I am extremely greatful. I guess I had some beginners luck here. A flyer and a PLM winner . I looked at the other thread and he kind of looks like my Uncle Ed. I wish the medal bar was there to be picked up but I am happy with these. The underlay on the unknown boards is a very light green. Thanks a bunch! Chet -

Finally, I believe these are Prussian Oberst boards as the little threads look black. i can not find the cypher. He seems to have been promoted. Is the white infantry or guard? These things are a confusing field to try and work with for me. Thanks for your help. -

This pair I would guess are forrestry or hunting related. I would even guess post WW1. They are green with silver stripes. -

I think these are Wurtemburg but the shape really throws me. I am guessing these are pre WW1. They are slip on type boards. -

OK - I can not find the information that I am looking for so I would appreciate your help. These are pretty easy I think - Prussian leutnant in the flying service. Does the grey underneath just match a grey uniform or does it link these to a specific occupation like WW2 boards? -
Gentlemen, I have come into a few shoulder boards from a local estate and I am trying to ID them and it seems tricky to me. I have looked at the Kaisers Bunker but I still am lost. Is there a good source on the web to find information? I have never bothered to get any of these and they have not interested me much at shows but I "found" these so I picked them up. I have pictures and I will post them when I give up. I learn best by beating my head against the wall. Is there a list of all of the little chingadaries under the crown? I think two are from Prussia but I get lost after that.

Jason has the right idea. Not a big flashy bar but to a man who was there. What could he tell us? @Wild Card - I have seen a few of these over the years. I always meant to get one but just never did. This one came up and I thought it was time. The pattern on the top of the case is unique. If I remember correctly there was an even nicer version of the case with the medal name on it. Stogieman should have pictures if memory serves. Chet

I found these in a box as I was trying again to get organized. I have a feeling these are parts bars as there are no two ribbons the same. Am I correct and do these have any value at all?
