nice one - really!!!!!!!!!! if you don't mind, i'd add what i bought a month ago (didn't needed 30 years - but i'm still very happy to have it) also on the correct mounted ribbon - with the wide white lines front:
whats written on it - KUK Sturmsch?tzen? (can not read it clearly) than it would be Stormshooters. but the badge looks more like a trench fighter. christian
they are so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!! only the master can have such nice ones! would it be possible to see a pic of the reverse of the w?rttemberg pin, the rosette and the enamel one? PLEASEEEEEE christian
no, there are 5 ribbons - the centenail medal ribbon often gets really dark in those black and whit pictures and here it seems to be a really "black and unidable one" christian (sorry for my 1.st grad style writing )
i would say, that the last ribbon is for the turkish iron halfmoon (because its behind the hindenburg cross and there is no other award from hessen) christian
thats the worses what could happen to a collector. not only the money also the time, love and happyness spend on it would break someone. but the way i think people will react, is that this collection will be sold easily and not even a chance of catching the because there are enough people around, which don't ask to much if the price is correct. but i really HOPE, that the thief will get his punishment christian
seems to be good! and a baden kvk isn't as common as a iron cross - probably you know many ek docs - but how many baden kvk docs do you know? really nice doc! christian
the first fake of the DSWA Medal i've seen in my live (ok, not that long - but i tried to see a few of those) and such a crapy one (sadly the clasps are better faked) christian
nice one from anhalt! but wasn't the 1. Klasse not something like a bit "unofficial"? i have believe that there was something about the first class - does someone know more? christian
they are from belgium ww1 awards - the medal is the Yser medal and the cross (war cross - but i'm not sure) for documentating the other side of the trench it is really interesting to get more knowledge about those as well! hope some others can put in more! christian
w?rttemberger who got something from coburg-gotha (perhaps both combat awards after his home state one) not a that "big" guy in ww2 (no wiederholungsspange for the ek - got "only" a kvk) perhaps there exist a w?rttemberger unit where a royal from saxon-cobutg-gotha was commander or chief of it and the awardee was in ww2 a "paper-fighter" at a luftwaffe office table. - to many thoughts i shouldn't do without any knowledge about research and without having ranklists or anything similar ...
