    2. I hope they wil offer an discount, if you take a dozen. It is a collector's price or fancy price, I think this rare medals have no reasonable price.
    3. I don?t know. But I think, as they are not part of the soviet award system they have no status.
    4. As I know only this two versions exist. A silver medal and a brass one. The medal is dedicated to the 3rd Anniversary of the October Revolution, It was issued in 1920. It was awarded to participants and organizers of the session of the Petrograd Soviet. The medal was never part of the Soviet award regulations. It has more a status as a badge or jetton. About ~3.000 medals are given out to participants of the session and ~400 bronze medals by that who participated in its organization. regards Andreas
    5. Hello Jens, the Pilot badges and the Parachutist and para-instructor badges looks okay to me, due to the academy badges it is very difficult to say. There are two main collector oppinions. The first oppinion is, that only silver academy badges were given out and that all non silver badges are fakes. The other collector thinks that also non silver badges are okay. In the added picture is a comparision between a silver one and a none silver one. So, I don?t know. But these badges are heavily faked. In 1957 they dropped the name shields, but the military was not happy about it, so there were some customer made shields attached to badges in different ways Btw, there should be about 64 different variants. best regards Andreas
    6. Hello Jens, yes I think it?s a fake. There is not only a lack of details avers. I think also how the screw on reverse is fixed, is a give away. regards Andreas
    7. Nice group Gerd, still the money worth you paid. regards Andreas
    8. The mondvor side lists two different variants of the PCFCP Red banner and both variants/picture on the mondvor side looks different. So, to my conclusion it is a fake. regards Andreas
    9. Erik, I would go first for the OGPW 1st class (s/n 168.347 could be around beginning to middle 1945), high award and defenitly no long service award Order of Glory s/n 168.347 (could be around 1945) OGPW 2nd class s/n 283.104 (could be end of 1944 to beginning 1945) Order of the red banner s/n 258.521 (could be around 1945) regards Andreas
    10. In my oppinion a fake. See the picture of a real typ 1 Badge of Honor. Known s/n range: 20 - 1.447 http://mondvor.narod.ru/OZnPoch.html Totally nothing fits: Missing rivets on the reverse look at the figures, totally different faces and so on ... KP could be a master mark, to my standard of knowledge it is unknown what it is exactly. Observed letters on Badge of Honors are: K, KP, O, C, TP, bK and I have one with a "5" on the top of the screw. regards Andreas
    11. That was fast... . Yes, you are right. It is the famous fountain "the playing kids" in Volgograd / Stalingrad in the middle of the red square. regards Andreas
    12. So, it has nothing to do with awards. Maybe the question is easy ... In which city is this fountain located ? regards Andreas
    13. Interesting Gerd, I have checked two of my Red Stars S/N: 2.520.684 and 2.656.588 and they both have a thinner medaillon. My guess, just a production variant.
    14. Hello Gerd, what is the serial number of the Red Star ? regards Andreas
    15. It?s the Order of red banner of labour from the Socialistic Republic of Georgia. It was founded in 1928. There should be around 200 awards. I have never seen an original one. regards Andreas
    16. Unique work ! Thanks for sharing this regards Andreas
    17. This medal crossed today my way, and I couldn?t resist.
    18. There is also a nice badge from the International Exhibition in New-York, but I don?t know if this one is a original.
    19. I have heared, that these red Order of Glory boxes where used for foreigners. Maybe just a rumour or misinformation. regards Andreas
