I can) The artie was repaired alot - shoulderboards and collar tabs were repaired, original wool saved but wooden inserts in collar tabs were replaced; I also replaced the handmade shoulderboards with regular, retaining the original emblems, buttons and golden straps.

If you look at the belt attachment loops, the similar config can be found at the 50-60 era buckles. ww2 buckles usually have attachment loops made of round wire, often even two loops separately. This one has the rounded corners, typical 50-60 era attachment loops and applied emblem. However, I must admit, that the emblem is very well done.

also wartime buckles have 45 grades cut angles, like shown above, and postwar have rounded angles. however, differing buckles exist.

here is my ww2 navy note the difference. WW2 navy and merchant fleet buckles's anchor has rounded hooks, but postwar have square ones.

But I myself do not like the following: 1. ersatz-leather lining has no specific traces of wear. 2. the liner band and holders are not painted. The helmet is a belgian one, and the star applied is fake, but this done to reproduce the soviet helmet, which soviet army used untill 1936 when a new model was adopted. Initially imperial russian army used a number of helmets, purchased in France, differing from french helmets by khaki colour and double-headed eagle emblem on the front side. Later they were re-captured and issued to soviet troops. At those times, they produced a thin steel or thin brass big red-enameled star emblem for helmets. Nowadays the Adrian M15 helmets both with eagle or with a star are a huge rarity, and completely unable to find, especially the adrian helmet red star. I know that Denis R has one original star, and maybe he will be kind to show it to us someday. Untill I am not so rich, I hold this mixed up helmet. Repro star is about 30 dollars now, and belgian helmet was a gift from a friend. sorry for bad pictures... I told you they are bad. the helmet is probably from 20-30-ies or from 40-60-ies era, made of fiber. My father remembers these helmets at the subway construction workers, who dug the tunnels
