    10. It is unevenly stretched. Even the EK2 looks like to have different width of white stripes.
    11. That was my thought about "Beendet" as well. You can't tell the difference. it is more likely that the seller terminated it prematurely.
    12. EK2 ribbon is dirtier than the HHO one. From the back side they look the same. This is not a recent purchase, I've had this for about 20 years.
    13. "Beendet" is "Finished" or "Terminated". So, probably it went unnoticed.

    20. Following is the award document of Hermann Grothe, as a Lt. d. Res. for his Wound badge in black. Signed by Major Matthias Feuerheerd, commander of IR24. Hermann Ernst Grothe was born on 10.12.1894 in Königsberg, Prussia. He died in Berlin on 05.04.1959. On 01.10.1913, Grothe joined the Infantry Regiment "Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II of Mecklenburg-Schwerin" (4th Brandenburg) No.24 as a one-year volunteer, and rose to the rank of Leutnant before the end of the WW1. From January 1919 to March 1920, he was transferred to the Volunteer-Regiment von Oven, given various assignments. During WW2 he was a commander of Nebelwerfer/Nebeltruppen units, and his last assignment was with the Volks-Werfer-Brigade 1 (1st People's-Rocket-Artillery-Brigade). On 09.05.1945, Major General Grothe was taken prisoner of war by the Russians on the Hel Peninsula, and was released on 07.10.1955 after 10 years of imprisonment. On 08.10.1955, he returned to Germany (right in photo) together with the then retired Panzertruppe General Sigfrid Henrici (left in photo).
