    1. This is a terrible shame, seemingly fires always destroying such valuable resources, archives, document storage places. Even the UK saw a similar fate for all the WWI citations for the Military Medal. It would have been amazing to research these Yugoslav awards like how we can research Soviet awards.
    2. Very great to learn this! And a very useful tip to find the awarded orders. Thank you!
    3. It was delivered today and is much larger than I expected! Also something interesting I noticed, is that together the lion and red enamelled circle is seemingly separate from the medal, and is merely kept in place by the small silver circle with the four red x’s. It is a very cool construction!
    4. Some excellent research, and also interesting order! I imagine it wasn’t uncommon to see late awards like this one. Also great to see another person part of the 400th Rifle Regiment, as I have a documented Battle Merit awarded to an Armenian there. I might post it sometime.
    5. That is great, thank you for the great information!
    6. Greetings everyone, and I wish all of you a Merry Christmas! I have been looking at this order for a while and I am fairly certain it is original, but I’d like to have more opinions. Is this really a Novchanitsa Order, or is the nut not belonging to the award? Thanks in advance for all help!
    7. Yes, Czechoslovakia. On the front, “I Am Ready”, and on the back, I think it is “Ministry of National Defence” (MNO) followed by something which translates differently from Czech and Slovak to English. But it is probably “Youth Military Fitness Competition”
    8. Such an extraordinary Order with research!
    9. It is difficult to say a good price, and it is not really discussed here. However, I have personally seen some good ones at the range of 30-40 euros. They can come with/without ribbons, but if you buy one without - some sellers are selling the original separate ribbons too. I bought 2 in this approximate range, both original and quite good.
    10. Here is one that I retrieved, waiting for it to be delivered.
    11. I am currently viewing this auction. Is everything in order here? Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.
    12. Such a young lady, a great hero!
    13. Received a light wound on the 8th September 1941, only 6 months after entering the Red Army. After the War, he worked as Commandant of the Housing and Public Utilities Department of Workers' Settlements, “Zaporizhstal” Factory. Citation written by Commander of the Regiment, Guards Lieutenant-Colonel Zalyalov, Adel’zyan Khayrutdinovich (Гв. Подполковник Залялов Адельзян Хайрутдинович) Forwarded to Division Commander, Guards Major-General Gorishniy, Vasiliy Akimovich of the 75th Guards Rifle Division (Гв. Генерал-Майор Горишний Василий Акимович) Forwarded to Head of Human Resources Department, Guards Major Borzunov, Ivan Alekseyevich (Гв. Майор Борзунов Иван Алексеевич)
    14. I saw this Order being sold, and I am interested to know whether it is authentic or not. What does everyone think?
    15. This is the correct ribbon for the medal, I believe. But it looks like a later production of the ribbon.
    16. It is a terrible shame that it will be difficult to determine the number ranges. I read somewhere, maybe here, that they were not sequentially awarded, and were instead awarded like picking numbers from a tombola.
    17. Very cool to see the awards of Tito! With his awards, it looks like Brezhnev had competition. I also found another OPS II from Mondvor, number 7584, from eMedals. I wonder if they stopped producing at 7600 or if they continued for a few more. Maybe I can find a low IKOM to see where the switch happened.
    18. Amazing information! Thank you very much.
    19. These ones are sometimes confusing. I would have expected that non-Soviets were awarded the special medals without the top text. However it seems that some foreigners received the common ‘War Participant’ medal, like the British in the Arctic Convoy. Someone said that the medals without the top text were awarded to delegates who celebrated the annniversary celebrations, and visited on special occasions. Some not even participants of the war. Perhaps this is just an ordinary medal, but I never seen such a type of ribbon.
    20. Such a beautiful example! I hope that if any archive does exist, it will be released. I would love to learn about who received this particular order!
    21. Wow, such a collection can make many jealous.. Merry Christmas to you, too. And of course, a wish for a Happy New Year!
    22. Excellent, thank you! I was told that it is indeed 7600 on another forum. I will look for other close numbered orders for both 1600 and 7600, to try and compare, then I can be certain.
    23. Now according to an old post on the sammler forum, the highest Mondvor II was around the 7600 number, so this might be one of the very last of the Mondvor manufactured stars. I also think this is at a steal, at a possible price under 100€
    24. Just seen this Order of the Partisan Star II Class, an earlier version by Mondvor! Number could either be 1600 or 7600 (Seller says former, I think latter). How does everyone think of this Order?
