    1. This post is for you,Russel! My long wanted L/57 pinback, together with the really rare screwback! I only know one core and one frametype-it seems to be that my "Boerger" EK1 collection is complete now..... Micha
    2. This one is also new-definitely not the Deumer type....any ideas? Micha
    3. This is one of my new EKs-a flat Deumer clamshell.Unfortunately it isn't the frame variation I was looking for,but my other one is a convex so it can stay here Micha
    4. That's a good one-blued sheetmetal core type 1,the rarest pin variation and as a bonus two hooks(can't tell if they are added later by a jeweller or being original from the maker).I would add it in a second to my collection-full score! Micha
    5. Well, there where some at the WAF-tomorrow I will take some pics-L/57 pinbacks are harder to find, but it's not impossible-The L/14 is a piece with souval hardware-hard to judge but from the pics I've seen at the WAF it looks like a good one.... Micha
    6. These EKs came in two days ago.......for some of them I've been looking a very long time(L/12,L/14,L/52,L/55,L/56,L/58 screwbacks+two clamshell variations-L/12 magnetic and non magnetic,L/50,L/53,L/57 and an L/58 pinback) Both Souvals are really rare variations with flat swaz and brass core.....to be continiued! Micha
    7. @Enzo-as you know there's still a big discussion about Rothe&Neffe.I've never seen a hallmarked 1st Class exept the two screwbacks in Previteras book.Unfortunately the pics are too bad to judge the EKs. You said the "Sternchen" Punze is a sign for R&N-I'm still hunting EKs with the blued sheetmetal core...Not so often to see but I have got a few in my collection-2 different cores, the "Silber" stamping with 3 different pins, the other core type with a number of silvercontent stampings(both core variations also with screwbacks).-But no singn that would allow me to trace it back to R&N! The one pictured at the "Gei?ler" is described as"from an austrian officer",that was the only link that could go towards an austrian maker. A while ago a member of a german Forum shot a beautyful case in austrian style with the logo from R&N-the EK inside was a very beautyful one...but stamped with +M+.So as you can imagine I would really like to know more! Micha
    8. This one dropped in today, not in perfect condition but still something that is worth to be collected! I simply bought it to compare the measurments of the pin to my other one. There's some damage at the top crossarm(and a little splitting of the frame) and one "fang" is broken off.....It will have to leave again, but for the moment I enjoy it! Micha
    9. Aaaahhhh-from Ebay,eh? It seems to be that you are the one who has beaten me here......That's a superb group, even for me(I'm not going for documents normally).Next time we should talk.........sorry that it went so high! Micha
    10. I would think so-Never seen one,but it would make sense! When I will find one with a plate I will take it in a second... Micha
    11. Sometimes you need some luck-a very good friend of mine is giving up his collection...this one is on the way to me! One of my "most wanted" EKs,the rarest variation of this maker! The next time you won't see me buying EKs,because this one will come with another 15 1939 EK1.... Micha
    12. Joel-you made it again......"square" marked EKs with non magnetic core are really hard to find.Same for Steves EK-the fist one with zinc core I see from this maker! Micha
    13. A while ago one was sold at Ebay.com-If I remember right someone here has bought it Micha
    14. They are harder to find, but it's not impossible-one is pictured in the "Gei?ler" page 104 right at the bottom of the page. Micha
