Hi Micha. Here is the only other photo I took yesterday. Your cross does have a very similar small screw device to mine. For info, the recess in my case is about 3.5 or 3.6 cm across. How does your screwplate measure?

That's all I have right now and it is getting dark out there. Something bothering you? Obviously the plate does not match the case recess and I do not believe that I will easily find a different plate so I think I will return it....

The recess

The small nut has some markings but they have been worn away and I cannot make sense of them

Can you please post photos of your screwback EK1 with the case? I have just received such a set but am not too happy with it and would like to compare with others before deciding if I should return it. The case I have here has a 3.5cm diameter recess for the backing plate but the cross came with a plate much smaller than that. How easy would it be to find a spare backing plate? I will post photos later when there is enough light.....or rather if there is enough light today.

Well thank you. THere is a date on the back which reads 22/1?/12 (the numbers are Turkish and written in that order). I bought this because of the presence of the EK2 and Turkish Star really and even though the photo is in back condition, it is indeed very impressive.

Yes that double one looks very nice. I would tend to agree with you about the single one. It does seem to lack the details you usually see on these small ones.

and now with the hook is use (this way, the bottom of the case is now on show which make the whole thing look rather messy I think)
