    1. Hello This is a part of my collection, of commemorative pins. My father in law, bought them for me, for next to nothing, about ten years ago. I have scanned some close ups, of the pins, that I believe have a military connection. I don't read russian, so if anyone can help me with the inscriptions, I would appreciate it very much. Regards Snoopy
    2. Hello Thank's for the kind words. I allso like the helmet. The helmet has found a place of pride in my collection, and it will not go missing in a wardrobe again. Regards Snoopy
    3. Thank you all. The colour is what I would call, faded green. Snoopy
    4. Thank you very much, for the information. Regards Snoopy
    5. Difficult to say. The piping on the shoalder straps looks different in the photo, but the sunlight that hits the shoalder strap looks brighter, than the light on the tabs. Snoopy

Hello The photo of the Fw 190 D-9, looks allmost like a wartime photo, and not a model. Snoopy
    7. This is It. It's an original press photo. The label on the back states that he is a georgian, from Sonderverband Bergmann.
    8. Hi Paul Thank you very much. I like the photo a lot. I think it's interesting to see that such uniform combinations excisted, and that everything did not have to be per regulations. I allso have a photo of a soviet volunteer from Sonderverband Bergmann, and he is allso wearing a luftwaffe flieger bluse. Regards Snoopy
    9. I made an attempt at a close up, and this is it. Snoopy
    10. Hello I have this photo in my collection, that have puzzled me a great deal. It's dated 30 nov. 1942. He is wearing a luftwaffe flieger bluse, without collar insignia. The side cap looks black, with an ss eagle, and a small cockade. He is allso wearing a small badge, on his tunic. Was this man a volunteer from one of the Baltic states? Was he a volunteer in the luftwaffe, or maybe luftwaffe tunics was the only available? Does anyone have any opinions, or information? I would be grateful. Regards Snoopy
    11. Hi Paul They certainly look pink to me. I think that faded red, would take on a different hue. Great discovery. Regards Snoopy
    12. Hi Paul The photo on the cover, is the only one. I have tried tried to translate some of the contents of the booklet, but since my knowledge of the german language is limited, it's slow going. Some of the chapters looks like they cover legal matters, conserning personel serving on airfields. The last page is a form (St?rungs meldung), that was probably used for reporting, if an incident had happened. Regards Snoopy
    13. Hello Excellent pieces. Snoopy
    14. Thanks for the information. I did not know that. Regards Snoopy
