Christian, as far as I know, orders of II and III class were made of tombac after 1980. and on these orders there are no markings on the back. Sorry, do not know the weight.

Christian, orders made of silver must have been marked (stamped) with silver mark on the back of the order.

Narodni front or: People's front was democratic association of citizens on voluntary basis in Yugoslavia. Peoples front has it's beginning in 1935. as a union of the democratic forces against fascist forces that were growing at that time. In WWII Peoples front in Yugoslavia was transformed in Narodnooslobodilacki front or: National liberation front with the task of uniting all antifascist forces in one union against fascism. After the WWII, People's front changes his name in: Narodni front Jugoslavije or: People's front of Yugoslavia and his task was rebuilding of the Yugoslavia which was devastated during the war. In february 1953. People's front of Yugoslavia is transformed in Socijalisticki savez radnog naroda Jugoslavija or: Socialist union of working people of Yugoslavia. So, I think that order is dated 1945 ? 1953.

Filip, NFJ does not stand for Narodna Federativna Jugoslavija. After the WWII the name of Yugoslavia was: Federativna Narodna Republika Jugoslavija or Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. I think that letters stand for Narodni Front Jugoslavije of People's Front of Yugoslavia.

Laurence, first one is a pin of the Pionir organisation. In Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia children were entering a Pionir organisation at the start of their elementary school.

Dear Christian, it is not a badge for a cap. It is a pin and represents a symbol of JNA (Yugoslav peoples army)

I almost forgot. "Dom JNA" means: Club of JNA (Yugoslav peoples army).

Christian, You goti it right. "Podmladak" means young members of the club. Youth club.

Second one means: "Savez socijalisticke omladine Jugoslavije" - "Union of socialist jouth of Yugoslavia" Third one: PPT is for "Prva Petoletka Trstenik" - that is a fabric in town Trstenik, now in Serbia.

As far as I know, recipients of the Order of freedom are: Marshal Josip Broz Tito General Ivan Gosnjak Koca Popovic Peko Dapcevic Kosta Nadj, all commanders of the armies of the Jugoslav army in WW II Foreign recipients: Marshal Zukov Leonid Ilich Breznjev
