    1. Keep in mind that a relative, "friend", or caretaker could have switched badges at some time, unbeknownst to the vet. I'll bet it's not a rare occurrence. --Kevin
    2. 12x magnification loupe for examining recon photos. This is especially fitting in my collection since I have a grouping to an observer who was a recon photographer, and I also have a camera of the type he would have used. The loupe is of exceptional quality, and weighs 11.5 oz, or 330g.
    3. A couple more. Flak(?) and one wearing a para badge (I think).
    4. Holy crap! Got enough? :speechless1:
    5. You've been having some very nice weekends! What maker is on that PAB? --Kevin
    6. I think this guy may be pioneer (black tabs).
    7. From what you've shown, I don't see anything wrong with it. Oh, and by the way, the maker is Emil Voos. Nice! --Kevin
    8. Photo from the internet for reference. Both pictures must have been taken in roughly the same time period.
    9. Zoomed in. Notice his pilot badge is above the EKI. He must have been very proud of his piloting!
    10. This photo I recently got has a Luftwaffe ace in the shot: Hermann Graf, one of only 27 people to be awarded the Knight's Cross with oaks, swords, and diamonds. He is credited with 212 air victories.
    11. Bravo, well found! Birdie had a rough landing or two, but it's still a beautiful thing. --Kevin
    12. Neat little flight item I just got. Electrical control for the heated flight suits. Now I need a suit with which to test it out. --Kevin
    13. Thanks for your comments, gents. When I first saw this knife, I wondered if the grips had been refinished, since they are very nearly free of dings and scratches. But looking it over carefully, I'm convinced that the knife is all original and in to-die-for condition. Now I just need to find a takedown version, perhaps a little saltier for contrast. Regards, Kevin
