this bar, your bar - exactly this bar - once belonged to my collection................................. and as you know I loved bars with names.................. this one had a name too................. and with this bar there came a lot of documents, papers and award documents!!! It seems that now another group has been broken off by some **** people This bar belonged to a policeman from Leipzig - a Kriminalkommissar !!! Now the problem............. just found this photo on ebay.de...................................... I am not the best in ww2 militaria.................but please correct me if I should be wrong.....................among his Wehrmacht awards this guy is wearing in his button hole a.................................... WW1 iron cross !!!! or the ribbon for it.......... or I don`t know what............ maybe I am only colourblind..................... but..............yesterday everything was ok with my eyes

with logical thinking (yes I can... ) this HAS TO be the ribbon of the Kyffh?user medal...... because...... if the bar is after 1934 he would have had the Hindenburg ribbon instead of the Kyffh?user ribbon............so the bar is before 1934 - and there was no ribbon for KVK available because it did not exist yet

without Hindenburg cross and this ribbon I would say this bar dates before 1934 and this ribbon is for the Kyffh?user-medal.....some kind of Vets-Organization.... KVK in last place makes no sense...

...............if we think now for one second - only one little second - that he mounted his awards as weired as Dincklage-Campe................ .................why should not the first wider blue ribbon be the ribbon for his crown order 2.class....second blue ribbon for Friedrichorden... on BMVO maybe the crown was changed into swords.... the bow for the read eagle 3 is missing.....then we would have the pre war awards of von Schabel.... has anyone his complete ww1 awards?????????????

Bernd , I have Generalmajor Schabel in the 1914 rank list as commander 2.Fu?artillerie-Brigade with bavarian MVO 4.class with crown !!! Also he has there: red eagle 3.class with bow red eagle 4.class with crown crown order 2.class long service 25 years W?rttemberg order of the crown W?rttemberg Friedrichsorden knights cross 1.class

that`s it...............my feeling with the bar is absolutely good too!!!! Maybe it is not Von Schabel and maybe it makes no sense - BUT - Ithink the bar is ok and not new made - 100% !!!! Don`t worry Timo, if it is not Von Schabel maybe some day a stupid wearer photo appears and the sun will shine over Dublin again

Stogie......... just one thing to think about............do you remember our special friend, the master of nonsense bars Freiherr von Dincklage-Campe He had awards on his bar that normally were not shown on bars................. what, when our friend here did the same? Could it be possible that the first red eagle order is a higher class, (against the rules) represented by this ribbon???

your little Frackspange is even better this way than with noncom-ribbon!!!! It is the "third type" .... noncom-EK on combattant ribbon for homeservice - great bar!!!!

NO way........... Thomas would have worn his "golden medal for making 40 years holiday in Florida" in the first place...... but it is missing on this beautiful chain, so it is not him!!! 100% !!!
