    4. Hi colonialists... the problem is that every german colonial campaign and it`s medals and clasps, it`s ribbon bars and medal bars, it`s award documents and award criterias is a universe for itself... I think you can`t open a thread and put as much colonial information in it as possible - you won`t find anything again after some days... Make one thread for China, one for DSWA, one for the other colonial actions - then you have a chance to see a lot and find it again greetings Heiko
    5. Of course I would be very interested, too... please give us more details!!!
    6. yes it was my mistake,too.... I concentrated on the RAO far right and forgot Friedrich on the left... thank you very much for the same as always "LEARNING, LEARNING, LEARNING!!!!!"
    7. Hi Rick, I know what you were talking about but these vets organizations ribbons were NOT for medal bars, mostly they had some unit info or the name of the warriors club printed on the ribbon. The black/white on your piece is from prussia, same is from baden in red/yellow, from w?rttemberg in red/black and so on...
    8. Hi Christian, your ribbon is for the 100 year regimental medal 1813-1913 of the Regiment von L?tzow. greetings Heiko

    13. Hi all, here I have a unknown award document of an imperial german soldier who had over 30 years military service as Zahlmeister, he went everywhere... China, ww1 and the hard Weimar times. I have over 30 documents of him, some signed by very high people like Von Hindenburg and Groener. Here is now an award document that I cannot read, I think it is maybe bulgarian? It is made of thick high quality paper and is very big: 30x45cm !!! It is a double paper, on one picture you can see it complete with 60x90cm !!! It is dated on 26.5.1912 and has the award N?66 !!! I think you can see everything on the pictures, if more info is needed please mail. My questions are: What country is this award document from? What award is this document for? What was this award given for? Can someone show me the award? Thank you very much for your help!!! Heiko
    14. Good morning Gerd, now it`s getting an adventure the battle clasp "NOSSOB" was given for the battles between 25.3.1905 - 7.5.2005 in the area of two rivers "Kleiner Nossob" and "Gro?er Nossob" (little nossob and big nossob) which is located north-east of Gross-Namaland. the battles were Aminuis 25.3.1905, Nnibkobis 8.4.1905 and Ganachab 7.5.1905 - these three battles were put together for the battle clasp "Nossob" But now we have a "Nassob-River" as well (just googled too...) but all hits give the Nassob-River as the border between Botswana and South-Africa and not beween Namibia and Botswana for example. The little and the big Nossob come together and are running then as one river, the Nassob-River.... So maybe in german it is the Nossob-River (little and big) and in english it is the Nassob-River. But this Nassob is not on former german territory.... MAY I ASK THE QUESTION IF THIS "NASSOB" CAN BE SOME KIND OF A BRITISH BATTLECLASP ????????? Of course private purchased, not the typical british style... or maybe a dutch one??? Who else has been in the area of South Africa and Botswana? I am just feeling like "Heiko Potter and the magic clasp" PLEASE HELP!!!!
    15. nice ribbon bar with two enameled austrian minis on it, no needle system, for sewing on the uniform...
