    1. David, Thank you very much for your information. I actually got this book as a bonus to a deal I conducted for an EK2 from a dealer in Germany. I may even look to trade this book as well as a Soldbuch which I'll post later for those interested in trading for Imperial German medals. Thanks again for the info David. Regards, Joel
    2. Gentlemen, this booklet accompanied an EK2 I received from Germany. Unfortunately, there is no other documentation to substantiate the EK2 as being awarded to him. Just curious as to what this booklet was issued for and if anyone has any possible information on the name Jacobi from Munich. I thank you for any information you can provide. Regards, Joel
    3. Unfortunately Micha it's unmarked. Are there any characteristics that you can see that would indictate a possible manufacturer? None the less, thank you for your opinion. Regards, Joel
    4. Greg, I thank you sir. Now I get to keep buying them for the education and gratification of filling my medal case. Joel
    5. Gentlemen, I am happy to report my first Wide Framed EK2 has arrived from Germany and I am very pleased. ( I know to the expert collector this is small change) but you know I am an EK apprectice and it's the baby steps that get me excited. Regards, Joel
    6. Gentlemen, I thought I'd ask the experts what they're thoughts are on this one. It is un-marked however, feels alot heavier than most and has a higher relief on all of the features on the core. I thank you in advance for your comments. Regards, Joel
    7. Interesting Cross Tom. So many variants so little money... Joel
    8. Bob, no worries.. For a while collecting Japanese Militaria was paramount for me. Now, I dabble with the Imperial German Medals and my interest will once again will shift as it always has to something else and then the cycle begins again. Always, back to where I started, regretting all that I've sold or traded for. Regards, Joel
    9. Gentlemen, Just seeing if there are any Imperial Japanese collectors out there interested in Japanese Firearms. I'd be happy to furnish additional photos if there is an interest. I look forward to hearing your feedback. Sorry for the quality of the shots I provided. I am still waiting to receive my camera upgrade. Darn Mavica doesn't provide the quality I'm looking for. LOL! Regards, Joel
    10. Here is my one and only Infantry Assault Badge. It s a late war 44/45 cast badge done by the firm Gebruder Wegerhof. Regards, Joel
    11. Very Nice. Looks great still after so many years! Joel
    12. Dan, Thank you for your reply. As far as the belt goes for this piece it is long gone and obscurred by History. I bought this buckle at an antique market in the early eighties. I thank you for giving me the possible scenarios and the proper timeline in which buckles like this were worn and "customized." Thanks again Dan. Regards, Joel
    13. Gentlemen, I wanted to show you all this Buckle I've had for many years. It looks like an earlier model than most I've encountered that were issued during World War One. The smaller belt rest and the fact that it is a coated brass leans me to the assumption it's an earlier model. Has anyone seen this maker mark either? I thank you in advance for any information you can provide me. regards, Joel
    14. This is just a shot in the dark but are the wreaths supposed to be different running up each side of the badge? Joel
