    1. Hallo Heiko, here is the pic of Emil Frenzel 1914 before he went to Africa. it was in a old thread from 2007. I couldnt find my Reichsheer ranklist but I wonder if he continued in the Wermacht? And right now I got some more info In the "Kolonial Hand und Adressbuch 1926-1927" he is listed as Kaufmann so he probably didn´t join the Reichsheer? He was living in Nürnberg Huldstrasse 24! The search for more info continous. MFG Christer

    3. At Last, I have been hunting one of theese for some time since I bought a Photo with one of the last members of von Lettows force in East Africa november 1918. Emil Frenzl was a Feldwebel and was one of the last 155 to surrender. And now I got the "Löwenorden" found it at a Swedish auction site 1 hour ago..... I post better pics when I get it.     5. Here is a nice photo I got recently an old veteran from both 1912 and 1914 wars but non fighting in both. I havent seen any photos earlier when theese medals where worn so I thought is was a nice pic to my collection. I wonder what kind of work he did ? Maybe a doctor ? Christer

    9. Theese medals are quite hard to find , if the information is right that I have only 1000 was made. And the documents is even harder to come by, I have one doc and that is the only one I´ve seen. I wonder who got theese medals ? Hope the pic will show now... Regards Christer

    19. :cheeky: Hi all, I just bought a small group to a Woman. Dr Dona Ivanova Tjankova (if I read it right ?) She got the 1941-1944 Order II Class 31 Dec 1969. thats the book with the photo. And again in 17 Oct 1988 she got a 9 Sept 1944 1 st Class wo swords. (both awards w boxes was in the group) My question is what is written in the 1988 order book? It says something ending with 80 r Could it be something about her 80s birthday ?? Then she would been 61 in the photo from 1969 Anyone who can help me All the best from Sweden Christer

    22. What do you think about this man? He was sold as a Saxon/Anhalt Landjaeger. If I read the ribbon bar right He got EK II , SA3aXkr and ? The photo is dated 1931 so it couldnt be any EHK. Christer

    25. :jumping: Great Order Stogieman, I wonder how llong they awarded theese "old" issues of Order of Labour? This is awarded in 1959 and by then the new type should have been out and around. I have also a similar set with book from 1959 . All the best from Sweden Christer
