    1. Hey Lorenzo, I posted the reverse of one of the Generals Straps, you asked for. As you can see, it is very cleanly assembled. Speedy, Thank you for sharing the uniform jacket. I would like to find an officer's quality example to place my boards onto. Regards Paul
    2. I under stand your position there!! LOL. Those are some great pieces. Is the General Still on active duty?
    3. Thanks!!! Where are you finding this information? Also, I am sure that there are other colors as well? Now only: red and blue, yellow, black, Any any others I may be missing!
    4. Thanks Lorenzo!! Now we need meanings for: red, red and blue, yellow, black,
    5. Those do not get any better than that! Thank you for sharing it with us! How is the bore?
    6. Chris would be the one to ask about the potential of the EK ribbon and assigned duties. That is one great bar! I love the non combattant. I have not seen more than a couple Lippe NC bars. Congrats!
    7. Those are some very rare and minty boards!! I have never seen a set of TSD KM with that ranking! Great find! :jumping:
    8. Thanks Lorenzo. Someone told me that they have seen: red, red and blue, red and green, yellow, black, white, powder blue and others!! Also, did generals wear a certain lanyard or did they wear the lanyard of their specialty?
    9. Uwe, Where did you get yours? I like the thick embroidery of your eagle. I think that they could be good as well. Where did you get yours? I will post a reverse shot of my boards when I get home tonight. Paul
    10. What is the group Franken? Is that tab a first pattern?
    11. Hi Lorenzo! You are right. The second set of shoulder ranks are very cheaply performed. I am convinced that the set I have are genuine, as they come from the same place and time as the beret and party badge. The beret cost me 200 dollars. It may be expensive, but I feel that this particular piece is not common and will only get more expensive with time. The party badge that I have seems to be in brass. Definitely not gold. Maybe the solid gold one belonged to Saddam?
    12. Thanks Lorenzo!! What other colors are there?
    13. Notice the beret and emblem. Major General and higher ranks wore the same beret as Pres Saddam. Photo came from here: http://www.answers.com/topic/saddam-hussein
    14. Here are some known fake boards, from a well known bulk seller... the embroidery is night and day.
    15. I was generously given these SA Tabs by a forum member. Can someone please ID the units and locations of them? If there is anything "special" about these units, any additional information would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance!! Paul
    16. If anyone can translate the inscription, I would be most thankful!
    17. The pin and case... notice that the plastic case has the Iraqi emblem in gold.
    18. Here is a closeup from the shoulder boards. Definitely a different animal from the ones known as repro from a certain online bulk seller.
    19. Here are a set of rank insignia and a beret for a Major General. The pin is a Ba'ath Party Membership pin(from what I have been told). This stuff was brought back in late summer of 2003. I got it for something to display with the flag I brought back. I am looking for an officer's grade olive green shirt to display the insignia with. I would like to find a shoulder lanyard for a medical officer(assuming that all Generals did not wear a specific lanyard of their own).
    20. Hello, Does anyone know what the shouder cords the Iraqi Officers represent? What did the particular colors mean? What color was the Medical Arm?
