    1. WOW! This question should be cleared up BEFORE you bid. Anyway, I would ask for better pictures to be emailed to you.
    2. Wow!! This is a top shelf piece! Maybe one day a roster will come out so it can be determined who the medal was awarded to.
    3. Here is another sobering one... the arm lying there gives me goose-bumps!
    4. Those are beautiful!! I especially like the numbered NCO board!! If you ever tire of it, let me know!
    5. I hear what you are saying. That particular photo is kinda chilling, is all. Lorenzo, I wish you the best of luck over there. It is great to see you have such a close and respectful relationship with the local people. When I was over there, I was sometimes very embarrassed with the actions of my "comrades". Not more than a handful took the time to get to know a few of these noble Persians.
    6. Thanks for your input Bernhard! I would love to see this documentation! Where can I find a copy? Is it specific to the Luftwaffe? Does it get into any more detail on insignia(or the lack of)? Any first hand accounts? Please post ANYTHING here relating to the LW disciplinary units!!
    7. Oddly enough, no ribbon bar loops or evidence of there ever being there.
    8. I like it, Francois. Hand applied insignia is tough to authenticate(for me anyway). I dont notice any fading or thread from a previous adler, so it could very well be a period applied insignia, IMHO.
    9. Hey Jon, The tunic is too small for the two half manniquins I have now. The tunic is stuffed with a pillow, for a temporary form for the photo! Regards Paul
    10. Lorenzo, Thanks for sharing those great images with us! It looks as if the Army actually takes good care of these historic items!
    11. I am speechless about this particular image.
    12. That is an awesome collection of headgear. Thank you for sharing it with us. I do request in the future that you post your photos directly to your post. Once you reach 50 posts, your photo size allotment increases to 110K per post. Also these imagehosting programs sometimes disappear or take a long time to load on some computers. Regards and welcome! Paul
    13. Hi Snoopy, The patch is very relevant. It is a construction based LW civilian organization. I will have to do an article on those men as well! I wanted to add my newest tunic to the thread. Paul
    14. Hi Rich, This is the one I sold the fliegerbluse for. It was a tough decision, but I am a "tuchrock man" anyway. I have never seen or heard of a black piped tunic of this rank before. Regards Paul
    15. The page numbers are not matching what I have in my books. Are you sure that the pages are correct?
    16. Hardy, Thank you for the link. IT looks like a beautiful tunic. I will write to him to ask about obtaining a photograph of that tag. I wonder if this tag changed designs during the war. The HG tunic linked is badged with the 01Jan43-30Mar43 insignia configuration. This would be a decent reference point! Snoopy, I do have those references. I will take a look at them shortly. Thank you! nesredep, The holster is marked and dated. I can shoot you that info via PM if you would like. I dont know about the buckle. I thought that the SA used brown leather. Regards Paul
    17. Thanks Hardy. The reason I was thinking that tailor's label could be a hint is the location itself. I wonder if there were any construction units in Berlin? I have not seen this label before. I did not know that the government actually made Officer grade uniforms. Snoopy, Thank you for the kind words!! I love the obscure stuff!! I think that there were periods when the RLM ciphers were and were not worn. I will have to hit the books on that one!
    18. This is the first Trade Badge citation/certificate I have ever seen. This is a very special piece!!
