    1. That is a really nice example. This is the first one I have ever seen with the piping around the tabs!!! Here are mine... I apologize for the poor photos, yet I have mine in boxes at the time... and dont have easy access.
    2. Thank you guys for your kind remarks. I very much enjoy the Stalingrad medal too. I love my medals worn and issued. I am not a "mint" kinda guy. Please feel free to add any comments or comparisons to this thread... that is the main reason I made it. :-) I am just glad I bought all of these 14 years ago. There is no way I could afford some of those today! I even have an extra Belgrade... somewhere... I must find! I was shocked to see that Belgrades shot up to the 300+ range on the dealer sites. Scary. The Leningrad ribbon is correct. This ribbon had the dark green center stripe, where the Odessa had the Blue center stripe. With a little fading, the ribbons are difficult to distinquish sometimes. I think that if you can find an Odessa anywhere, buy it. The prices are starting to mimic the TR German stuff... I dont even know of one for sale. What are they fetching these days?
    3. These could be for a Naval Weapons Officer or Coastal Arty? Paul
    4. I know exactly what you mean. I collected Soviet orders and medals from 1992-1994 because the were attractive and very affordable. As time went on, I started moving to the German side of the Hobby- moving the Soviet collection into the closet(Literally). I could not ever bring myself to sell it. This forum did the same for me.
    5. Kiev. This medal was delayed in issuance because the Soviets lost the battle. In 1962, this medal was authorized by Khruschev during his time in power. He did this because his WW2 action that battle.
