    1. Good evening! From what I can see, this badge appears to be correct to me. I have not handled too many badges and am respectfully requesting a second opinion. There seems to be a black finish on the eagle. Thank you in advance! with much respect Paul
    2. The first one from Desert Storm was a pilot... right?
    3. Seeing these medals(or their ribbon bar representatives) on a person's chest would definately be a thought provoking sight. I will do some checking on the numbers of POWs from this war. I dont think that we have any known service men(women) in custody of the enemy at this time. I know that we had close to a dozen service men and women who were captured by the Iraqis in the first weeks of the war.
    4. Are any of the higher ones engraved on the back.
    5. Definately a possible group as we did have some POW's, yet the mounting is incorrect. The correct manner of wear on a uniform would be three medals in the bottom row(POW Medal, Nation Defense Service Medal, and Iraqi Campaign medal) and the Bronze Star and Purple Heart would be on the top row
    6. Home made medal bar... This would not be a single bar. Per the regs, the bottom row would have the last three and the top row would have the top two. They are in the correct order. We did have a few soldiers who were POWs, so this is a possible combination. Are these attributed to any one person?
    7. I freak'n hate you! LOL Seriously, awesome finds all around! Nice find on the medical reserve and the orange officer tabs! Awesome job!
    8. landsknechte, What a shame! That bar would have been a perfect match for the medal bar I bought a few months back!!! I am glad that I saw it here first!(I would have bid on it!!!)
    9. Thank you Rick L and Rick V! I have posted the bars in the other forum!
    10. Thank you for your help as well Rick!!!
    11. Thank you Pete for your help in IDing the ribbon bar! There could not have been too many Germans Fighting with the Finnish in WW1!
    12. Are there any other pics of the helmet? For the sake of learning, I can hardly wait to see what your opinion is of this piece!
    13. I just wanted to share a couple of new ribbon bar! If someone could please ID the non German ribbons on the first bar, it would be greatly appreciated! Regards Paul
    14. Thanks Rick! Is there a way to tell the grade of this medal by the ribbon as shown?
    15. Isn't it?!?! I thought that the average price for these was around 350 dollars! I wonder how long that one will stick around?
    16. 819 dollars for a TR Lifesaving medal?!?! I am glad I picked up my four when I could!!! http://www.germanmilitaria.com/Political/photos/N28454.html
    17. I have just won this bar. I feel good about it. It did not spend much, but I am happy!! What are your thoughts! Paul
    18. No problem! I can see now! Very nice! These marking add a lot of personality to your helmets! Maybe Ed will know of some of the markings. He is the most knowledgable person here on the topic(arabic) Paul
