I think you were just overly excited to get in a new badge - you're excused!! Anyway, sweet Assmann Flak John! The zink Assmann examples were double marked as well. ERIC [attachmentid=38710]
Hi TANO, An excellent collection of Para Badges - Congrats on your 'nest'! I really enjoyed that! I too see a lack of quality Para Badges at the dealers as of late. Seems when these go up for sale they're snatched up immediately. Kevin, sorry my friend, but I am with the other fellas concerning your Para Badge - I too believe it to be a reproduction. The hinge, catch, and rivits are just not correct for Osang. ERIC
Hello Kev, Really difficult to tell by the small pics - does the maker mark say GH Osang Dresden? If so, I for one do not recognize that hinge, catch, or rivits as being characteristic to that manufacturer. Is it possible to get a closeup of the maker mark? ERIC

Eric thanks for the extra picture! Do you have yours on display if so how? I am trying to think of the best way to display mine and keep it protected.
BTW guys thanks for the kind words!
Cheers
John
Hi John,
I keep mine in a large, deep riker case lying on a blue fabric backround, placed inside one of my showcases. Nothing fancy but it looks good!
I too wish to thank you fellas for the compliments on our stabsflaggen!
ERIC
Hi John, The tag is identical, although the number written on it is different - mine has a #35 on it. The stitched seam is also present on my example as well. Here is a shot of the tag, top hardware, and stitching. I believe this pic is sufficient to show all three. ERIC [attachmentid=35749]
Hello John, I have an identical one, tag and all, a direct wartime bringback from a veteran whom resides in my town. Mine is black/yellow/black, colors for the flying units. ERIC [attachmentid=35684]
