Hi
I am very happy to share with all of you my last find.
It's an authentic u-boat table, i have found this one in an antique shop in St Nazaire.
A side of the table was broken and the other was partialy.
I don't know why the table survived from the war, i think that it is broken since the war and had been replaced by a new one on a St Nazaire U-boat after a patrol.
Here pics before and during the renovation:
Regards
Ben
:D In addition to Michel pics, i show you these torpedo plates found last year with several others KM items in the Scorff U-Boote base in Lorient. I don't know if this kind of plate is specific to a torpedo model. Here WW2 pics, we can recognise the plates. Regards Bne
:D To share with all of you, here pics from an uncommon West Werftleistungsabzeichen award document, it's the first time that i see this model. Kirchhoff Hermann Regards Ben
:D To share with all of you, one of my last find. It's a very nice 1943 0-200m "Tiefenmesser". IMO, this kind of "Tiefenmesser" was used for the type IX U-boats. More than seventy years after, it's incredible to see the night vision!!! Regards Ben
:D Can you help me? I want to know the number of the Vorpostenflottille wich used the following emblem "Vorpostenflottille Abschnitt Kanal": Regards Ben from Chebrourg
:D Do you know this kind of UK lamp? I found this one few years ago in a farm near St m?re Eglise. On this lamp, there is a system to put it in the ground!!! Regards Ben from Cherbourg
