Hi, Recently I have bought this Medjidie Order and in the back, besides the Darphane-i Amire and the silver hallmark, there is a mark in zigzag: does someone know which is the meaning of this mark? Also I would like to know your opinion on this Medjidie order: I believe that it's authentic, but lately I'm a bit paranoiac with the fakes. Best regards

Hi, I am looking for a Osmanie order , and and by the photos that I have seen until now, it seems that there are two types: one with the TRIANGULAR suspension hoop and best finished and other with the suspension hoop more ROUNDED and a bit more poor finished (less detail): Do they belong to different periods or they were made by different manufacturers?

Besides in Persia it was made of other countries: France, Germany, Belgium, Russia...For the drawing of the central medallion, I believe that this is persian made, but I?m not sure. This is a Grand Cross (civil division): 3 bands in the centrer and 8 arms. If you find any information about the period of issue, please, make it know me Best regards
    12. Hi, I recently obtained this Order of the Sun and Lion. This order was institued in 1808, in 1925, the order was substituted by the order of Homayoun. I belive that this order is persian made, probably by Saniolmamalek. If it is possible, I would like to know, approximately, its time (period)of issue. What do you think? Best regards

    16. Hi, My Xmas present has been a lovely greek order of the Redeemer, it?s really one of pretty order that I have had in my hands (pity of chip in enamel ). Watching with the lens, it is valued perfectly that the redeemer was painted by hand. The order is a silver cross (fifth class, 2nd model), but I not to know the maker, looking in the Web, I have seen several: Lemaitre (Paris), Huguenin (Swiss), Greek jewelers...it?s possible to know the maker or at least the period of issue?.
