    1. They did have a sense of Humor
    2. Here's a shot of the Soviet Embassy in Berlin right after it was vacated ..look at the Banner
    3. Paul ..you've been holding out on us !! Fantastic selection but , now that the Cat is out of the TENO Bag ..you're going to have to crack open that case and share a few closeup shots with us
    4. It looks very delicate as if it was never meant for daily wear ?could it have had a large neck ribbon and used as a Jewel only while ?in Lodge? ? Interesting ...
    5. I agree ...that would worry me and kill it for me too. I had a good friend over 2 years ago and we were comparing some of the Holters details between his ..and mine. They had their own sewing "style" so ...if it comes down to it , there's more than just the tags we can compare . The white tag they sent you has me a little worried though as it does not quite match up with mine.
    6. Got it ...here's my other one -- It's not the greatest picture but , you can see how the label is not that "stiff" coated material ..it's a soft fabric . And there are a few differences ...the bottom of the "H" touches the line on both examples.
    7. Don ...does the main Label (Collar) have an address ..and does it match the white Label ? I've seen a few fakes where they only put a white Label in place , which is fine for a White Tunic but not for a Piped Service etc .
    8. Holters changed their address or opened a new shop so , I have run into 2 styles (with 2 addresses)for their white labels . I have another but can't easily get at it right now. Here are 2 of my examples --
    9. I wonder if this Pub offers a discount
    10. That was an easy mystery to solve --thanks to you ! I guess this never ended up getting delivered ..
    11. I posted this on another Thread but as Paul mentioned ..it might be interesting to see if any of our members could translate it as it's from the Prime Ministers Office
    12. I agree Paul ...They found it during a search but even though it looks heavy duty, with my luck it's probably instructions to the Janitor to change the Mop Heads twice a week I'll start a new Thread on it in case Bob or one of the other members can translate it ..who knows ? It's from the Prim Min Office so , it could turn out to be interesting.
    13. Another group rotated back and , they brought me a few new items for my display. A nice selection of AK Bayonets and a very official looking document....don't have a clue what this says but thought I'd share it with you ---
    14. Thanks for the vote of confidence here Dave but ?I wouldn?t hit the 99% mark unless I lived 5 more lives. Another thing to keep in mind ?imagine how many TENO uniforms were stripped or cast aside by Collectors back in the 60?s and even 70?s. We knew very little about the TENO. So like everything else , if we didn?t understand it ..how could a value on its ?regalia? be set ? I think this new Book will be a turning point since now Collectors will be able to learn more about who and what they were ?and their role in the War.
    15. My TENO NCO Visor -- take note of the "piping" used for NCO's ...then compare the piping used on the Collar Tabs of my Officers Tunic above. I have never seen this mentioned in any of our Books and thought it should be pointed out.
