    1. Unfortunately, with the exchange rate here in Canada it wasn't worth it for me.
    2. It looks OK to me, and yes, there are tons of decent fakes floating around these days. Any maker's mark on the edge of the 6 o'clock cross arm?
    3. Here is one of my favourites, an SEHO1 in 750 gold.
    4. I'm no ribbon expert, but I think yours stand a good chance. PM me if you've got a particular item you're looking for, I'm in BC.
    5. Did you try the UV test? You can also try the match test to see if they are natural or synthetic. Where in Canada are you located?
    6. Ummm, I didn't post it, and besides, we've gone over this issue in the past.
    7. OK people, time to get this thread going again. Here's an obscure and rare one, the Reuss Golden Cross for Arts and Sciences.
    8. 450 euros for a cased St. Henry Medal? Boy am I out of touch with current prices.
    9. Geez, that one keeps coming back like a bad rash.
    10. Precedence looks correct to me for a Major-Oberst, although the Austrian piece should technically be at the end.
    11. Yup, I'm after that Kette because I have a RAO3mdS mini which I could swap in to complete it. How about this medal bar running in Germany right now? Pretty unusual to see something this nice on fleabay, and also possibly identifiable.
    12. Agreed, really great items, and Graf, great 'family portrait'.
    13. Without seeing detailed images, as you know, it's better to exercise caution on these.
    14. Nice one, I have a soft spot for Meybauer produced items.
    15. Yup, I did notice that the pin assembly looks like St.&L. 1957 stuff, but I've never seen a 1957 version of this pattern of badge. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
    16. I agree that that one is a fake, although genuine examples of the 'bent fuselage' pilot badge do exist, I have one.
    17. Hmmm, there are excellent copies of the St. Michael floating around. That one should have hallmarks if legit. Would be the deal of the decade if real.
    18. That was an iconic scene in that movie. And your VU for the Halbmond is really great Alex.
    19. D'oh Rick, I would love to see images of that set. Here is an AWS produced example from about 1880 from the estate of Generalleutnant von Floeckher. And an 1813 produced around 1830.
    20. Nice one, and in perfect condition worth double that.
    21. I'm no expert on EK's, but I've never seen an 1870, award piece or otherwise, that looks anything like that, aside from hundreds of fakes.
