    1. Stogieman, That's what I get when I try to go from memory instead of checking my chart of s/ns by year issued. Open mouth...insert foot!!! Doc
    2. OOOPS!! My mistake, stogieman. I hoped that the ORS would shed light on this group. Doc
    3. I have to agree. All of the medals and mountings look right. The lack of completed documentation is troublesome but Red star fits. Doc
    4. I agree!!! It's a very nice looking piece As for authenticity...I don't know but look forward to hearing more about this one!!! Doc
    5. Actually, The ribbon is for the military version not the court servant. These are the details: Milit?rjubil?umskreuz 1908 This cross was founded by Emperor Franz Joseph on 10 August 1908 in preparation for his approaching 60th anniversary of reign. It was awarded on this white ribbon with red stripes to all active armed forces members, and those who formerly served under his reign.
    6. And now the Document for the Defense of Stalingrad. Doc

    9. My Commemorative Cross with the solid red ribbon is supposed to be the civil version. I guess that the white with red stripe at each edge of the ribbon is the military version(?) Doc
    10. Darrell, Which class is your Commemorative Cross? I just received the white ribbon with a red stripe near each edge just like yours. Doc
    11. Alan & Dave you have so many fine collections!! I like the Ushakov medal and the Type 1 Medal for Military Merit. Doc

    13. Alan. It's still the first time I've seen a 1st and 2nd class in a collection. Until now I could only imagine all 3 classes. You have a great collection there. I'll echo Ordewr of Victory regarding the 2nd class!! Doc
    14. Thanks Alan!!! I will look for those. I appreciate the advise!!! Doc
    15. Alan, Regarding your 1st class. I see the COA verifying the 1st class s/n 23. As of 1991 the PMD states that 13 were awarded. Yours would seem to be not awarded. I am not trying to take away anything from your group. I am so excited to see that somone has all three classes. Doc
    16. This is just GREAT !!! I love seeing your collections. I just realised that I don't have any award books with pics of the recipient. Doc
