    1. And another group from the same vintage. But this one quite special ;)
    2. Looks like this medal really moved you
    3. It is pretty obvious for you mate, not for the newcomers If we are talking about higher classes of orders and more or less rare medals, box may add somewhere between 25% and 40%.
    4. Sure I noticed that, but in my system of identity (my system though is not like most ) they are identical P.S. How about these extras?
    5. Nice looking (+) or Nice looking (-) ?
    6. I don't think that you will get away that easy You tried to shake Dieter system to it's foundation!
    7. Hmmm... "Quite good" I am not so sure that this grade can be found in Dieter system
    8. Beautifully patinated specimen! You can see every tiny detail ... Thanks mate! I wonder if anybody at this forum has gold one
    9. Look practically identical to me Nice piece! P.S. Please send all extra pieces to me. I collect these by stamp differences
    10. This is of course probable ... But I think it will be more realistically to assume that these boxes came as a result of dealers activity. As we both know unboxed kite and boxed one will have quite different prices And there are many unboxed kites (some lost their original box, others were in the bars, etc...)
    11. By the way I still don't understand why "... absence of documents (or/and boxes) lend credibility to the 'collaborators medal' theory"?
    12. Don't you remember the amount of manufactured Kites in 1941, 1942, ...? Maybe that's why they were boxed Not to mentioned that we are actually talking about 1943 + (!) medal.
    13. All I really wanted is this simple (well not really ) answer to my simple question Hmmm... "Donators Medal" Sounds cool!
    14. Rich, you really have a very strange idea what logic really are Trust me on that ;)
    15. Apples and Oranges are fruits. Kites and China Inc. Com. Medal are japanese awards. Previous history has nothing to do with period 1940-1945. Same factors that were responsible for disappearances of Kite docs, may be responsible for absence of docs for Inc. Com. Medal. This is logic 101 Most likely there was no documents and cases. In 1942 japanese buses already have no seats Another variant - there were some "light", practically unrecognizable version of documents (something that gonna looks like docs for Bukosho badges) Do you really think that medal with initial name "China Incident Home Front Service Commemorative Medal" could be exclusively intended for "not Japanese people" And again I will ask you to explain why "... absence of documents (or/and boxes) lend credibility to the 'collaborators medal' theory"?
    16. Further proof ... I was under the impression that "Nick Komiya comes through with fantastic stuff" Anyway, why don't you simply ask Komiya for these proofs? You know where to find him Rich Probably. But why collaborators? Could you please explain to me why "... absence of documents lend credibility to the 'collaborators medal' theory"? P.S. Looks like the absence of documents for Golden Kites (awarded during the same time period) doesn't borther you that much
    17. Protectorate ... I really like to see these yellow/red or (for that matter) white/red ribbon specimens awarded by the Emperor I wonder how often this order was awarded on "national" ribbon ....
    18. Hi Dave, it's not the number of awards, it's the classes of orders and war/commemorative medals that make this or that bar realistic or unrealistic Usually fake bars could be easily detected, but the man (or women ) who know what he (or she) is doing could create quite nice and very realistically looking bar Regards, Nick
    19. Maybe cavalier really liked to play with this one?
    20. No legend ... Bummer! I really like these sci-fi stories for sci-fi bars ...
