    1. Nothing to worry about. In this diapason they have this "right-wing deviation". Even mondvor specimen has number slightly displaced to the right In fact I knew some collectors who were ready to pay extra for such eccentricities As I said earlier - congrats!
    2. Right at the bottom of the page http://mondvor.narod.ru/OLenin3.htm
    3. Unfortunately no ministerial order in sight ...
    4. Guys, as I wrote in post # 4 + The pin construction of badge without inscription also looks post-war to me (at least I don't recall seeing such pins on war or pre-war badges) Just my 2 cents
    5. Interesting that english wiki article only briefly mentions that this three-incher was used by Finnish Army. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/76_mm_divisional_gun_M1902 "...were employed by different factions: ... national armies of Poland and Finland..." In fact 76 K/02 was the most numerous field gun in finnish artillery park during WWII! http://jaegerplatoon.net/ARTILLERY3.htm
    6. Nice looking badge Melvin! Same inscription on reverse as Tod's badge has, but again slightly different stamp. For example, take a look at endings of last upper plumes or diameter of central stamen ;)
    7. No wonder they running out of ribbons! http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C2%E5%E4%EE%EC%F1%F2%E2%E5%ED%ED%FB%E5_%ED%E0%E3%F0%E0%E4%FB_%D0%EE%F1%F1%E8%E9%F1%EA%EE%E9_%D4%E5%E4%E5%F0%E0%F6%E8%E8#.D0.9D.D0.B0.D0.B3.D1.80.D0.B0.D0.B4.D1.8B_.D0.9C.D0.B8.D0.BD.D0.B8.D1.81.D1.82.D0.B5.D1.80.D1.81.D1.82.D0.B2.D0.B0_.D0.BE.D0.B1.D0.BE.D1.80.D0.BE.D0.BD.D1.8B_.D0.A0.D0.BE.D1.81.D1.81.D0.B8.D0.B9.D1.81.D0.BA.D0.BE.D0.B9_.D0.A4.D0.B5.D0.B4.D0.B5.D1.80.D0.B0.D1.86.D0.B8.D0.B8 I am sure this list will be continued very soon!
    8. Congrats Spartan! Actually you like it before http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/60706-need-help-with-this-order-of-lenin/
    9. My though exactly! I tried to compare obverses of three pieces - they are pretty close. Some mini differences can be noticed though. For example anchor flukes (palms). Badge in post #1 has "arrows" right on the edge. Badge from the book has left "arrow" outside of edge and right "arrow" right on the edge. Anchor "arrows" of badge from post #14 don't reach the edge.
    10. No problem! What we have here is "4th class rising sun + 4th class sacred treasure" So we are talking about colonel (theoretical max)/ lieutenant colonel/ major (theoretical min) This is why I think such bar (authentical one ) should have (at the very least!) Showa enthronement medal + (very possible) 14-20/14-15 + WWI medal + (possible) Taisho enthronement medal.
    11. They look pretty old! I'd say both were issued somewhere between 1887 and 1894
    12. They call him Chris-Hintergesichtige!
    13. Case corresponds with the order. But ribbon looks like later replacement. Same goes for the rosette.
    14. Nice 3rd class from Meiji epoch appeared at YJ. Nice condition of the order and box
