    1. Well, this "late" type 4.1 looks exactly like "early" type 4.1 to me. January 20 is not late enought?! In that case we have another type 4.1 badge that was issued on November 30, 1945. After the war!!! Badge number 66914! Issued to Private 1st Class Kuwahara Susumu
    2. "Little green men territory" ... I should look it up in my atlas Taiwanese historian Chuk Hong-ming also wrote a book on the history of our medal
    3. Here we have a couple of such late badges. First came from January 20, 1945 Issued to Superior Private Inehara Shotarou.
    4. Privately (?). The sum (according to the rumors) somewhere between $1 000 000 and $4 000 000. The family members deny these rumors
    5. Shocking news! Like Order of Victory... As far as I heard it was sold for a couples of mill's
    6. I am sooooooooo exited! Solid provenance! "Grave robbers from SpinkChina part II" Soon in the theater near you!!!
    7. Very professional move! But even more professional would be "rarity without price estimate"
    8. Well, according to the article 8 of Protocol № 176 from January 30, 1947 they really shouldn't have any numbers on their shiny reverses :)

      Labour Badges

      That's a good one!
    10. Not to me To Peterson maybe... Indeed he wrote (p.87, 3rd edition) that "badges struck late in war are made of a cheaper alloy". Personally I've never seen these badges and don't know anyone who does. But one thing I know for a fact - badges that were issued "late in war" (I hope date January 20, 1945 will sound late enough) were struck in silver. Tell you the truth I don't know where James got this info ...
    11. Of course! Hopefully (with the lapse of time) these badges will be added to our gallery
    12.
