I found this list in book "Knights of the Star of KaraÄ‘orÄ‘e with Swords" by Tomislav Vlahović (Витезови Карађорђеве звезде Ñа мачевима - ТомиÑлав Влаховић). Considering that this is British forum perhaps someone will find his/hers ancestor in the list. I will write down all of the names in alphabetical order, please don't reply until I finish. SS stands for Silver and GS for Golden Soldiers' Star. PS please don't mind if I misspell a name, I am writing them as found in the book.

Serbia Recipients of Order of Takovo a.o.

Considering that this matter is off-topic and that for someone doing research it would be more useful (-easier to find) to have these information written down instead on photo I will open separate topic with all of the names. -

Serbia Recipients of Order of Takovo a.o.
paja replied to Rush79's topic in Southern European & Balkan States
I would like to thank Joris this way as well for sending me the list of Belgian recipients of Serbian decorations from WW1 era, priceless information I never before had a chance to see! Many thanks! Here's the list of British recipients of Karađorđe Star with Swords from the book "Knights of the Star of Karađorđe with Swords" by Tomislav Vlahović. *I, II, III, IV RED means (pretty obviously) I, II, II, IV class, ZKZM means Golden Soldiers' Cross with Swords and SKZM means Silver Soldiers' Cross with Swords -

Yugoslavia Yugoslavia Parachute Instructor badge in gold
paja replied to achern's topic in Southern European & Balkan States
I am not expert on these badges, especially not parachute ones, so don't take my opinion too seriously, but I think yours is one of those that turned up recently on the market. Anyway whether they are unissued, newly made with original tools or fakes I really can't say for sure. When I asked for opinion about badges with gilded back side on one Slovenian forum, a member who I consider expert replied "I do not recommend purchase". -

Serbia Recipients of Order of Takovo a.o.
paja replied to Rush79's topic in Southern European & Balkan States
That might be the official rule, but as we can see on photos regulations were often violated. Just take a look at the placement of decorations on medal bars, very often they are put together not according to the order of precedence. I've seen many photos of officers wearing Takovo without swords during Karađorđević era, I even saw a photo of some colonel wearing Order of Miloš (but I suppose he must be reserve officer). I am very interested in getting that list of Belgian recipients of Serbian decorations! Thanks fir the offer, I am sending you my email at once -

More fake submarine badges. Golden ones are definitely fake, I am not sure about the silver one, some details are suspicious but the overall quality of that one is obviously better. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Four-Different-Yugoslavia-Submarine-Badges-/391028877701?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b0b232985 http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-7937-0-85471300-1421861996.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-7937-0-21022500-1421862016.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-7937-0-21798000-1421862028.jpg
